Perhaps today, you are wondering why so many struggles and why people have risen up against your life. We grew up among greedy and idolatrous people.
God has plans for the entire church. When we understand this, the devil rises up, using people around us.
Circumcision at the time meant a purification of our bodies. Today God is purifying our hearts. When someone stands up against us, especially people we often love, it is because God is circumcising our hearts. The devil often uses people we love to hurt us. But don't be sad, in a way he's contributing to your growth. What can we do, and look up, and see help come from heaven. (Psalm 121:1-2)
Don't be discouraged, look at the rock, Jesus, and pray for the people beside you. (Matthew 7:24-27; Colossians 1:9)
