Many have tried in some way to find God. That's good! Only the vast majority have not yet succeeded or did not understand how to do this. The Bible says that the pure in heart will see God. (Matthew 5: 8)
A clean heart, it is that heart that is TOTALLY given to the Lord. (Deuteronomy 6: 5)
You cannot give something to someone and then take it back. When we give someone something, we are giving them the right to do what they want. So it is with the Lord! And when we seek the Lord with all our heart, we will surely find Him.
