Jesus ordered his disciples to preach the kingdom of heaven. Today is no different. The church needs to continue with that vision.
Many preach the kingdom, and seek the kingdom, but they cannot tell where it is. In the book of Luke, Jesus shows where the kingdom is. The kingdom is closer than we imagine. He is within us. (Luke 17:21)
Within us is the kingdom of God, we need to expose it to people. We are responsible for the kingdom to be visible here on earth. (Romans 8:19)
