"Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will flow from within. Now he said this about the Spirit that those who believe in him would receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus has not yet had been glorified. "
John 7: 38-39
Living waters that quench our spiritual thirst are within those who believe in Jesus. This is possible thanks to our friend Espírito Santo. He comes to show us what is right and wrong and he also comes to supply us with spiritual gifts. (John 16: 8; 1 Corinthians 12: 4)
But before all this happens, Jesus needs to be glorified just as he was in heaven. (John 7: 38-39)
When we understand that Jesus needs to be glorified every day, then we will receive the manifestation of the Holy Spirit every day and we will never be thirsty! The more Jesus is glorified, but the Holy Spirit is manifested!
Are you prepared to glorify Jesus every day of your life and let the Holy Spirit take up residence in you?
