Desert is a place that many are afraid to speak only. It is not easy to even go through the desert, but it is there that the character of the Christian is formed. There the true Christian is born!
John the Baptist was in the desert, and there they found him preaching the gospel. John was preparing the coming of the Lord (Isaiah 40: 3)
Two interesting things happen in the desert. The first is that in the desert it is necessary to preach the gospel independently of any struggle, just as John the Baptist did. The second thing is that someone in the desert will preach to you regardless of her struggle.
We often get word from someone who isn't doing very well, and we end up judging, but she is paying the price to get Dad's message to us. So it is with everyone who goes through the desert.
If we see in Matthew 4:1, Jesus was also led by the Holy Spirit into the desert. It was there that the Holy Spirit taught Jesus what to do.
The desert is a Christian school where the teacher is our friend, the Holy Spirit.
