Chapter 71: Preparing

Last time:

Dean walked over and kissed me, "I bet Charlotte will probably call now."

"I know, right," I laughed as I pulled him into a passionate kiss.

"Hey guys......." I pulled away quickly and turned around to see Seth standing at the door. His widened eyes changed quickly into a smirk, "I knew it!"

"I knew it!" Seth repeated.

"Seth.." I started, but he interrupted.

"I can't believe you guys didn't tell me!" he laughed in amusement, "Man, this is awesome! Everyone is going to freak!"

I stood there speechless as he continued. I couldn't believe Seth had been the one to find out first. Knowing him, the whole world would know by tomorrow.

Seth ran over and put one arm around each of us, "Wait until I tell everyone. To think all this time that we were trying to get you guys together, but you were together all this time."

"Seth!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, Mrs, Ambrose," Seth asked with a smirk.

"You can't tell anyone."

Seth's smile faded. He took his arms away, "Why not?"

"Because you just can't, ok?"

"Why are you guys keeping this a secret anyways?" Seth asked.

"I'm telling him," Dean said.

I was about to argue, but I figured it wouldn't help, "Ok."

Dean looked at Seth, "Gabby thinks her parents wouldn't like me."

"No, I just don't want to tell them over phone!" I exclaimed, trying to defend myself.

"But your parents love Dean I thought," Seth said with confusion.

"They do, I just want to tell them face to face.."

Seth's smile returned, "Secret relationship."

"Seth you can't tell anyone," I said, "I don't want my parents mad at me because I didn't tell them."

"Ok," Seth nodded, "But I'm telling Roman."

"No."

"Go ahead," Dean said over my no.

"Dean," I muttered.

"He deserves to know too," Dean argued, "We're the Shield, remember?"

"No secrets," Seth agreed, "No betrayals. No dissension."

Seth stared right at Dean as he said it. I know Dean had been having a big ego on TV lately, but did you really have to make it that obvious?

"Right," Dean agreed, "Go get Roman."

Seth smirked, "Alright, you two lovebirds don't get to comfortable."

I waited till Seth was out of sight, "Well this is just fantastic."

"And a relief," Dean smiled at me, "They were going to find out sooner or later."

I shook my head, "I guess I don't minding telling Roman, but you know Seth..."

"Sweetheart," Dean grabbed my cheek with his hand and ran it through my hair, "It's ok, I would trust them with my life."

I chuckled, "Yeah, well sometimes life likes to play a little game called screw you."

Dean echoed my laugh, "I promise they won't tell."

I looked down, "I really have no choice."

"Everyone hold the phone!" Roman came running in with Seth in toe. He stopped and started looking back and forth between the two of us, "Don't tell me Seth's lying."
