Jimin's POV

I watched as Y/n and Jungkook laughed at something on his phone. She was cuddled up to him on the couch with her arm wrapped around his. She rested her head on his shoulder and looked down at his phone.

It pained me to see her so close to him. I wish it was me. Jungkook is my best friend but watching Y/n fall for him really hurt me. After all the loving gestures and small hints she still didn't notice. I should have known she didn't feel the same way.

"Jimin?" He voice pulls me from my thoughts.
"Hm?"
"Jungkook and I were gonna go out to eat, you wanna go?" She asked.
"Um... no that's fine. You go." I said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah we could really use the company." Jungkook added.
"No I'm alright. You two go and have fun."
"Okay." They got up and left.

I sighed and leaned my head back on the couch.

"Jimin?" I heard Yoongi call from the kitchen.
"Yeah?"
"Oh." He walked out into the living room. "I thought you left."
"No, just Y/n and Jungkook."
"You should have just told her how you felt."
"I know." He sighed.
"You want me to call Namjoon, Taehyung, Jin and Hoseok over?"
"Sure."

Your POV

I sat at the table with Jungkook across from me. He looked up at me smiling cutely, his cheeks stuffed with food.

"You're adorable." I said taking a sip of my drink.
His grin went away immediately and he pulled his phone out.
"What's wrong?"
"Uh... nothing." He muttered as he typed on his phone.
"Okay."

After we finished eating Jungkook seemed to be in a hurry.

"I realized I have to go somewhere." Jungkook said getting in the car.
"Where to?" I ask.
"It's for work."
"Oh."
"I'll just drop you off at you house."
"Actually, could you drop me off at Yoongi's place?"
"Sure."

When we got to Yoongi's house I got out of the car. I looked back at Jungkook and smiled.

"Good luck with the work thing. I love you."
He smiled softly. "I love you too."

I closed the door and walked up the steps. Maybe Jimin will still be over here.

I knocked on the door hoping to get an answer.

The door opened revealing Yoongi.

"Oh Y/n!"
"Hi. Is Jimin still here."
"Yeah actually. Come in." He stepped aside allowing me to enter the apartment.

I headed into the living room and was surprised to see not only Jimin but Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung and Hoseok.

"Oh! Hi."
"Y/n." Jimin said looking surprised. "You're back."
"Yeah. Jungkook had to go somewhere for work, so I asked him to drop me off here."
"Come on have a seat." He said scooting over. "We were all about to watch a movie."
"Yeah and I picked the movie so you know it'll be good." Taehyung said.
"I'm sure it will be."
"So you wanna stay and watch it with us?" Jin asked.
"Yeah!"

Taehyung started to put the movie in while Hoseok and Yoongi went to make popcorn and fix some snacks.

I found myself staring off into the distance, completely detached from what was going on around me. My mind went to Jungkook, wondering why he suddenly had to leave for a work thing.

"Y/n?" I hear Jimin's soft voice.
"Yeah?"
"You alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine. Just let myself get a little distracted. Sorry."
"Okay, you know you can tell me when something is bothering you, right?"
"Of course Jiminie." I smiled softly.
