The moment She met Him

Devyani's pov -

"Devendra."

"Devendra as in The Devendra Singh Rajvansh?" I asked. They both nodded their heads. I gulped.

Devendra Singh Rajvansh the vo. Marr gayi. Bade style me bol to Diya ki unhe Laal bandar bnaungi. Hey Bhagwan ji, me kyo fasti hu humesha in sab chizo me.

"Kya hua beta ji?" I snapped out of my thoughts. "Ji?" I asked them. "Humne kaha, kya hua beta ji, kab bana rahi ho humare Devendra ko Laal bandar?" Shalini aunty said while chuckling.

"V-vo- voo m-mee", I started stuttering. "Koi nahi, take your time beta Ji. Koi jaldi nahi hai, aaram se planning-plotting karlo. Fir bnana Laal Bandar Devendra ko." Shalini aunty said looking at me mischievously.

"Kyo pareshan kar rahi hai usse Shalini. Accha, chalo ye Masti mazak baad me. Abhi hum chalte hai ready bhi to hona hai." Shalini aunty said while getting up from the bed.

"Ji bhabhi, and Devyani beta Ji, all the best!". Shalini aunty winked at me and they both left the room.

In evening -

"Aap hi hai vo, jo mere Bhai ko Laal Bandar bnane wali hai"? I heard a voice from behind. I turned and saw Kashish leaning against the gate.

"Bandar? Kon Bandar, kesa bandra?" I asked her innocently. "Are, jhuth Naa bole aap. Sacchi sacchi btayein naa, aap hi hai na vo jo bhai ko Laal bandar bnayegi?". She asked me while squeezing my hands.

"Kisne kaha asa or tum itna excited kyo ho rahi ho?" I asked her. "Shalini Chachi ne kaha or excited isliye ho rahi hu kyonki bada maza aayega, bhai ko Laal bandar bne hue dekhne me." She replied.

Ayeehhhh! Ye Shalini aunty mere ko marwa ke maanegi. Unko pata nahi kyo bada maza aarha hai meri taang khichne me.

Kahi unhone puri Haveli me sabko to nahi bata diya ki mene asa bola hai. Ab to pakka marna hai mene.

"M-m-mene as-asa kucch nhi bola hai. Aur tum ye btao ki, tum Mujhe raaste me ase behosh kyo mili thi and abhi tumhari tabiyat kesi hai?" I asked her to change the topic. "Me abhi bilkul thik hu. Or aaj mom dad ki 30th wedding anniversary hai na to me unhe surprise Dena chahti thi, isliye London se yha aayi me. But bich raaste me meri tabiyat kharab ho gayi or sab gadbad ho gaya." She replied to me.

"Surprise apni jagah thik hai, but atleast tumhe kisi ko inform to karna chahiye tha na ki tum aarhi ho, kucch ho jaata to? Me tumhe nahi mili hoti to?" I said.

"Wowwww. Ye to exactly Bhai ke bhi words the. Same yahi baatein mujhe Devendra Bhai ne bhi boli thi. Same to same. Issi tarah unhone bhi mujhe daata tha. Aap dono ek dum same personality ke lagte ho." She said while rolling her eyes.

"Huhh? Me or tumhare Bhai, same personality? Possible hi nahi hai. Mene suna hai vo kaafi gusse Wale hai? Sacch baat hai kya?" I asked to her because honestly, I was curious about him. I met with each member of the Rajvansh family except him.

Har ek insaan se mil Li me ghar me except him. Har koi ghar me unke baare me baat kar raha hai, lekin vo dikhe hi nahi.

"Haa gussa to thoda jyada karte hai, but dil ke bohot acche hai mere bhai. Gussa sirf unhi par karte hai jo log galat kaam karte hai. Ek baar agar vo kisi ko apna maan lete hai na, fir unhe jaane nahi dete." She replied to me.

"Anyway, me yaha aayi thi aapko Thank-you bolne. Kyonki aap ki wajah se hi me ghar Sahi sala mat phoch paayi. So thankyou so much." She said while hugging me. "Your welcome." I said and hugged her too.

"Chle abhi aap bhi ready ho jaaye, me bhi ready hone jaa rahi hu. Hum log 7 baje tak nikalnege. Jab ready ho jao to niche hall me aajana, me vahi milungi, okay. She said to me. I nodded.

Devyani got ready for the party. She wore Red coloured Anarkali suit with a pair of white diamond jhumkas. It was simple but elegant. She did minimal makeup as she was not big fan of make-up.

"Arehhh! Itni saari hairstyle try kar ke dekh li. Lekin ye laal sindoor ka colour to dikh hi Raha hai fir bhi. Kya karuuuuu?"

"Hatao! Simple baal khule rakh leti hu. Ab ye sindoor dikhe to dikhe." She said to herself. She checked herself one more Last time in the mirror and left her room.

"7:15 PM ho Gaya hai, Kashish niche phoch gayi hogi. Me bhi chalti hu jaldi se." Devyani murmured.

"Yaha to 3 raaste hai, abhi hall me jaane ka raasta konsa hai? Ye wala ya vo wala? Areee yrr! Pehle hi late ho rakha hai. Abhi ye raasta kese pata chalega?"

"Mum ko call karti hu. Nahi yr, mum-dad to already sabke sath nikal chuke hai. Kashish ka number bhi nahi hai mere pass."

"Ek to uppar se ye heavy anarkali suit bhi pehen rakha hai, uski wajah se alag garmi lag rahi hai." Devyani started talking with herself. It was one of her habit whenever she's in any situation like this, she started talking with herself.

"Itni badi Haveli hai ye, kucch directions to likhne chahiye the na, abhi kese jauuu me."

"Ho Gaya tumhara?" Devyani heard a deep voice. Immediately she got frozen at her place. Her heart suddenly started beating fast. Goosebumps arise in her body. She didn't need to turn to know who was behind her, because the way her body reacted after just hearing his voice, she knew who it was.

He was behind her, not so close but not so far. She could feel his strong gaze on her. She wanted to meet him, see him from the moment her best friends Shivani and Ankita told her about him. But right now, when he's just behind her, she didn't dare to move.

But still, she has to turn, because the person who's thoughts were constantly in her mind from the day her Bestfriends told her about him, was finally here. He was finally here. Slowly taking deep breaths she turned her face to see him.

And the moment her eyes fell on him, her heart stopped beating for a second and she knew, this was the moment she fell in love with him at first sight.
