Devendra's pov –

I woke up the next day to find Devyani sleeping beside me, her head resting on my chest, her hair spread out across the bed.

Glancing towards the window, I noticed the soft golden rays of the evening sun filtering through the curtains.

I reached for my phone on the bedside table and checked the time - it was 4:30 PM.

Reflecting on the previous night, I couldn't help but smile to myself. It was truly the best night of my life.

Devyani and I had spent the entire night engaged in, well... you know in doing some *ahem ahem* activities. We had only fallen asleep in the morning.

In fact, even in the morning also, Devyani couldn't sleep because I had kept suckling on her breasts.

Eventually, she scolded me and warned me with her cute, little angry eyes. She tried to intimidate me, but she couldn't. Because she looked so adorable and cute when she was getting angry.

At last, I eventually let her sleep because I knew she was exhausted.

Suddenly Devyani stirred in her sleep and shifted a little, allowing me to admire her beauty. As I looked at her, I noticed her hair was scattered, the vermillion on her head slightly smeared, and she was wearing nothing except the nuptial chain with my name around her neck.

She looked incredibly beautiful, so delicate and precious.

As I gazed at her, overwhelmed by love and admiration, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey that had brought us to this moment.

From the first time our eyes met to the vows we exchanged, every step had led us closer to this deep connection we now shared.

I gently brushed a stray hair from her face, marveling at how peaceful she looked in her slumber. Despite the challenges we had faced along the way, we had found solace and strength in each other's arms.

With a soft smile, I leaned down and pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, silently promising to cherish and protect her for eternity.

As I kissed her, I watched she slowly opened her eyes. She blinked a few times, adjusting to the light.

When her eyes fully opened, she looked at me and a smile spread across her face.

"Good evening, Jaanam," I said, planting a gentle kiss on her lips.

"Good evening nahi, good morning hota hai, Dev," she replied.

I chuckled at her response. She probably hadn't realized that we had slept for so long, and she likely didn't expect it to be evening already.

"I know, biwi. 'Good morning' is the right greeting. But it's evening now, so I'll say 'good evening' naa," I explained, watching her eyes widen in surprise.

"What?" she asked, clearly taken aback.

I smiled at her reaction, finding her confusion endearing. "Yes, we slept quite late Jaanam," I said, gently caressing her cheek. Her eyes widened in disbelief hearing me.

"What! How late did we sleep?" she asked, sitting up in bed, suddenly wide awake.

"It's already 4:30 in the evening," I said, watching as she looked around the room, clearly surprised by the time.

"Oh my God, I can't believe we slept so late. We should go back to home Dev. Everyone at home must be worried about us," she said.

I reached out and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, reassuring her, "Don't worry, Biwi. I told Samar to inform everyone at home that we wouldn't be coming back home last night."
