Tejasswi was the one to wake up first. She went outside and smiled at Vidhi who was smirking at her already. "He just picked me yesterday."

"I can see the concern-" Tejasswi shushed Vidhi and went to Ishaan's room. Karan got up and realized his surroundings. He came out and smiled at Vidhi who grinned back and pointed towards Ishaan's room.

"Ish, baby get up!"

"Jaan-" He turned to the other side while she caressed his head. "Get up baby, you have school na!"

"Bua sone do na!" Karan smiled seeing them. She evilly smiled and started tickling him. He opened his eyes and started laughing. "Hindi bolna seekha bhi toh yeh, haan!" She said tickling him. "Please, please I am getting up getting up!" He woke up and kissed Tejasswi's cheeks.

"Better, now go and bath!" He nodded and ran inside the washroom. She looked at Karan, "Mai firse sone jaa raha hoon, mujhe bhi aise hi uthaiyo!" She glared at his flirting and ran behind him while he chuckled.

They both were running in the house and finally settled after Tejasswi had pulled some of Karan's hair. "Tum log agar 5 minute me nahi bhete then you know me!" Vidhi said sternly and Tejasswi pulled Karan on the dining table. Ishaan also came outside in his school uniform and sat on the dining. "Umar so raha hai?" Vidhi nodded.

"Dad had to leave for an urgent surgery, he was coming to pick you first." Ishaan said and Tejasswi grinned at him. "I know but Karan picked me!"

"Thank you mamu!" Ishaan said and Karan pulled his cheeks. "You're welcome handsome!"

"Karan, Jasmin had called, Yashu ko pick krke dono ko school drop karenge and then we'll go to the office." Tejasswi said and Karan nodded agreeing.

They both dropped Yashika and Ishaan to the school and reached the office. As soon as Karan entered the 5th floor Palak came and hugged him. "Where are you?"

"What happened suddenly?" Karan asked breaking the hug. "Kal se phone karr rahi hu, na text ka reply de rahe ho!" Karan smiled, "Sorry,"

"You know that I like you right?" She said and Karan paused, "Of course I know..."

"Then what is us? Am I your girlfriend? Or just a fling...?"

"Listen Palak, I like you okay... but I can't give it a name, right now!"

"I am a long term person Karan, and you're not sure..."

"I would need time right?" Karan said calmly while she was getting hiper. "Then keep your time..." She left the place and Karan turned around to find Tejasswi standing there awkwardly. He gave her a weak smile while she blinked her eyes.

"Is Palak not your girlfriend?" Karan shrugged, "I didn't ask her out like that..."

"Karan do you like her?" Tejasswi sat beside him. "I like her, I like talking to her. She's a perfect kind of person, I mean..."

"I know, then accept the fact Kundri, she would understand. She likes you." Tejasswi said caressing his shoulders. "Should I propose her?" Tejasswi paused and then nodded. "Okay then Tapaswini you help!" Tejasswi's eyes widened and she shook her head. "No you will! Please please!"

"Hmm okay." Tejasswi said after his numerous pleading. He hugged her gratefully. "You're the best Teju!" She grinned and her heart cried. She could feel her throat dry with the thought of seeing him with somebody else.

She can't even say anything now, if she speaks the truth, his life would be in danger. If he pressurizes his mind much, his health could deteriorate and he could slip to coma again.

"Kya karna hai?"

"Bass ek accha saa date area book karde and you take care of the decor and food according to her choice." Tejasswi nodded. "Karan mai firr nikalti hoon, shaam ko kare?"

"Yes you pick her,"

"No I have to prepare also.." Tejasswi said immediately, she will not be able to hold herself. "Okay I'll ask her to arrive, mai toh jaldi jaaunga na!" Tejasswi nodded and left hurriedly.

"Arey? Ise kya hua?" Karan said confused and started doing his work. Tejasswi opened her phone and called Jasmin. "Jas, yaha best suite kaha milega dinner ke liye?"

"Teja, bhai ne tujhse pucha dinner ke liye? Ya are you giving him a dinner surprise?" Jasmin said excitedly. "No, nothing like that. Karan aur Palak ke liye-"

"What? Teja tu bhai ki feelings ke liye apne feelings ko supress karr rahi thi I agreed. But tu iss tarah unke yeh phase ke liye apne aap ko hurt nahi karegi!"

"Jas, bata na,"

"No Teja! Mai bhai ko abhi sab bata rahi hoon..." Jasmin ordered and Tejasswi stopped her. "Jas, nahi, please, Karan khush hai Palak ke saath!"

"Yeh tu bhi jaanti hai aur mai bhi, bhai kiske saath zyada khush hai!" Jasmin said and Tejasswi sighed. "I am just a friend Jas, he likes her." Tejasswi debated. "Karle jab tujhe karni hi khud ki hai!" Jasmin groaned and cut the call.

Tejasswi sighed sadly. She knew Jasmin wanted them to come back, but she was sure that it won't happen now. She opened her internet explorer and searched for the places she could visit.

"Karan, saara plan set hogya hai. Bring her by 8 and you come by 7."

"Thanks Tapaswini!"

"Hmmmmmm!" She said sarcastically. "SRK ki line bhool gaya tu?"

"Okay okay Teja, see you!" Karan chuckled and cut the call.

It was 7 and Karan reached the address she had given to him. She was wearing a hoodie and shorts and was just keeping the table lamps. "Teja!" He smiled seeing her. She looked too cute.

"Karan, look?" She showed him the corner she had made facing the sea side. A dinner table set for both of them and the waiters that will come and serve them the dishes as Karan and Palak liked.

Palak got ready and was excited that it was finally happening. She was going to be Karan's girlfriend, it would be their first official date.

"I am so happy, vaise Tejasswi utni bhi buri nahi hai... She prepared all of this tonight, she's a friend." Palak said to herself. She got ready and drove towards the dinner.

"Karan!" Palak waved at him as she entered the place. Karan smiled and waved back. She smiled and sat on the chair he pulled. "I am sorry about the morning incident, it is just that I already was scared of this relationships and all..." Karan apologized and Palak smiled. "It is okay Karan, to be honest I was also being selfish. I think I am in love with you." Palak said taking his hands in both of her hands. "I don't want you to answer this, because I know you require time. I just want to say that I love you, and I want you to know my feelings."

"Palak, I..." Tejasswi was standing near the gate, she couldn't stop herself from listening to Palak. Tears ran down her eyes, she was a mess. Her life was all turned just in an accident and she can't even get it back. He was gone, she lost Karan.
