Rory knocked on Lane's door
"Rory! When did you get back?"
"This morning" Rory said
"Come in" lane said
"Thanks, where's Zach?"
"He's at work, but we should all have dinner together tonight. You, me, Logan and Zach"
"That sounds great" Rory smiled "are the babies sleeping?"
"No they're over there in the playpen" lane said, gesturing to where the babies were
"Good, because I have a feeling that when I Tel you what I have to tell your reaction will be...let's just say, big"
"You already told me that you got a great job and you're moving to California. What other news could you possibly have?"
"That I'm getting married"
"No!" Lane yelled "are you serious?!"
"First of all, ow" Rory chuckled and rugged her ear "second of all, yes I'm serious"
"I don't believe it! When?"
"When what?"
"When did Logan propose?"
"At my graduation"
"Your parents were at your graduation. And your grandparents"
"Yes they were"
"He did in front of all of them?"
"Kind of. They probably saw but we were standing pretty far away from them"
"Oh, my god. I'm so happy for you" Lane hugged Rory
"Thanks"
"Can I see the ring?"
"Oh, yeah." Rory held out her hand for Lane to see her ring
"He's got good taste"
"Yes, he does"
Steve started crying
"He probably needs to be fed" Lane said
"Well, then I'll leave you to it" Rory said "Luke's at 7?"
"We'll see you there"

Rory got back to the dragonfly and went up to her's and Logan's room
"I'm back"
"Hi there" Logan leaned in and kissed her "how'd she take it?"
"Loudly" Rory chuckled
"Good loud?"
"Very good loud" Rory said "by the way we're having dinner with them tonight"
"Lane and Zach?"
"Yeah. At Luke's. Is that ok?"
"That's perfect"
"Ok. I gotta shower, I smell like travel"
"You smell like travel?" Logan raised an eyebrow
"You know what I mean. I feel all planey and gross"
"Whatever you say, Ace" he kissed her again
Rory got into the shower and a few minutes later she heard the bathroom door open
"Logan?"
"Yeah, Ace?"
"What are you doing?"
