"It's Christmas! Wake up, I have candy cane coffee!" Lorelai shouted, early Christmas morning
"No. No no no. Don't wake up" Rory jumped out of bed, opened the bedroom door and poked her head out "mom!" She whisper shouted "be quiet!"
"But I have candy cane coffee from Weston's"
"And I have a sleeping baby, who I'd really prefer you not wake"
"Sorry" Lorelai said "here" she handed Rory a coffee
"Thank you"
"Is Logan awake?"
"I can't imagine anyone in this house isn't after your shouting"
"We didn't" Luke said as he and April joined them in the kitchen
"Good morning" Lorelai smiled and kissed Luke
"You need about 100 chill pills" Luke said
"What's the deal with this coffee?" Logan asked, walking out of the room, holding Lena, who was leaning on his shoulder
"Oh, my god" lorelai laughed when she saw Logan and Lena's matching Christmas pajamas "that is the cutest thing ever"
"Isn't it?" Rory said
"You did that?" April asked
"I did"
"You're a genius"
"Thank you"
"Can we talk about something other than the pajamas?" Logan asked
"Sorry" Rory laughed "Cute guy. Cute baby. Cute pajamas. We have to talk about it" Rory put her hand on Logan's arm
"Please don't call me cute" Logan said
"I second that" Lorelai said
"What time are we leaving for Richard and Emily's?" April asked
"10" Lorelai said

Everyone was at the Gilmore house and all the presents had been exchanged
"Should we start picking up the paper?" Lorelai asked
"The maid will do it, Lorelai" Emily said
"Then let's have lunch" Richard said
"Actually, I have one more present" Logan said "for Rory"
"What? Logan, you already gave me my present"
"Well, I have another one for you" He stood up "I'll be right back" Logan walked into the other room and came back with a present "here"
"What is it?"
"Do you not understand the idea of a present? You have to open it to find out" Logan said
Rory opened it and then looked up at Logan
"I thought it would look good in the office next to the other one"
"How did you do this? It came out yesterday and we've been together there whole time"
"Magic, Ace"
"Well, what is it?" Emily asked
Rory turned around a large black picture frame with the New York Times bestseller list in it, with Rory's book highlighted.
"Is that the New York Times?" Richard asked
"Yeah, the bestseller list"
"You made the New York Times bestseller list?!" Richard asked
"You read the New York Times. You didn't know?" Lorelai asked
"I don't read that section. Rory that's wonderful!"
"We should celebrate" Emily said
"Eggnog?" Lorelai suggested
"Sounds good to me" Luke said

"Oh, it feels good to be home" Rory flopped down onto hers and Logan's bed, a few days after Christmas
"Yes it does" he sat down next to her
"What are you thinking about?"
"How much I love you" he kissed her

Logan leaned down and kissed her

"You're going back to work next week"

"To end my boredom? Yeah"
"And to leave Lena?"
"I don't know" Rory sighed
