"I dunno" Sophie shrugged

"Green braces?" Sophie raised an eyebrow "it'll look like I always have something in my teeth"
"What about purple?" Logan suggested
"I think I'm just gonna do silver"
"Silver's boring" Daniel said
"That's the point. Why would I do a bright color that draws attention to something that I don't want attention drawn to"
"Getting braces is not the end of the world" Logan patted Sophie's shoulder
"How would you know?" Sophie scoffed "you never had braces, mom never had braces, Lena and Daniel didn't have braces"
"But your Nana did" Rory said as she walked into the kitchen
"So did Honor" Logan added
"And Rosie has braces" Rory reminded her

"No" Rory chuckled "she looks exactly the same, but with some metal on her teeth"
"Did she let you take a picture?"
"The kid won't even open her mouth. You think she let me take a picture?"
