It was a week before the wedding and Rory and Logan were getting ready to head to Stars Hollow
"Hey, where did we put those thingies" Rory asked, walking past Logan in their room. He was packing his suitcase
"Uh...you're gonna need to be more specific"
"You know...the thingies...with the flowers"
"The boutonnières?" Logan chuckled
"Yes"
"They're in the closet, in the hall"
"Thank you. And don't forget your suit"
"You think I'm gonna forget my suit?"
"I don't know what you're gonna forget"
"I'm not gonna forget anything. But you already did" Logan chuckled
"What? What did I forget?"
"This" Logan held up the bag with the bracelets for all the bridesmaids
Rory gasped "I didn't pack that?!"
"Nope, I saw it on the kitchen table about 10 minutes ago and grabbed it
"Lifesaver" she kissed his cheek

"We're here!" Rory called out when she and Logan got to the dragonfly
"Rory!" Lorelai hugged her "don't go in the kitchen"
"What?"
"Sookie's doing a trial run off your wedding cake and you aren't allowed to see it"
"Got it"
"Ok, I put you guys in room 6" Lorelai handed them their keys
"Thank you"
"And don't forget dinner at Luke's at 7"
"We won't"

"Hey did you ever find out if your parents are coming to the wedding" Rory asked Logan as they got ready for dinner, later that evening
"Nope" Logan sighed
"Do you want them to?"
"After what happened the last time we saw them? I don't know"
Flashback- March 2008
"Logan!" Mitchum said when Rory and Logan walked into the sitting room in the Huntzberger mansion, Rory's hand in Logan's "nice of you to take time out of your busy life to come see us"
"Hi dad" Logan sighed
Rory and Logan sat down
"So" Mitchum said "are we gonna talk about it?"
"Talk about what, dad?" Logan played dumb
"This" shira held up a piece of paper "Logan Elias Huntzberger and Lorelai Leigh Gilmore invite you to join them in the celebration of their marriage on October 28th 2008 at 6:30pm in the town square of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Reception at the dragonfly inn to follow" Shira read the invitation
"Look-" Logan said but got interrupted
"I did look" Mitchum interrupted Logan "I looked a week ago when I got the invitation in the mail. I didn't know you had gotten engaged."
"Dad-"
"How long?" Mitchum asked
