July 4th- 30 weeks
"10 weeks!" Rory complained as Logan helped her get settled in bed when they got home from the hospital the next day
"I know" Logan sighed
"Bed rest. I'm stuck in bed for the next 2 months!"
Logan sat down on the edge of the bed, next to her and put his hand on her leg
"We have 2 little kids. How's that gonna work?"
"We'll figure it out" Logan assured her
"You're gonna be exhausted"
"That's fine"
"Are you sure?" Rory yawned
"Try to sleep, Ace" Logan kissed her gently and left the room
"How's she doing?" Honor asked when Logan joined her in the living room. Josh had taken all of the kids to the park.
"Not thrilled" Logan said as he sat down on the couch "how were the kids?"
"Daniel was fine. Lena was...upset, scared maybe. She wanted to know what was going on"
"What'd you tell her?"
"That you guys went to the doctor and you'd be back soon"
"She accepted that?" Logan asked, a little bit surprised
"Not at all" Honor sighed "she's smart. She knows something's going on"
Just then the front door opened
"Daddy!" Lena exclaimed what she saw that Logan was back. Both Lena and Danny ran over to him
"Hey!" Logan hugged them both
"Where's mama?" Lena asked, quietly
"Listen" Logan said "mama's gonna need to rest a lot until peanut gets here, ok?"
Both kids nodded
"She's either gonna be in bed or on the couch, and she's not supposed to stand up a lot. That means if you need anything don't ask her, ask me"
"Ok" Lena said
"Ok" Logan echoed
"Where's mama?" Lena asked
"She's sleeping"
"Why don't we have some ice cream while we wait for her to wake up?" Honor suggested

July 12th
"So..." lorelai said, as she sat down on the bed, next to Rory
"Yup..."
"10 weeks. Really?"
"Well, I guess it's technically 9 now" Rory said
"I'm sorry, kid" Lorelai patted Rory's leg
"At least I have Hershey to keep me company" Rory said "that dog has barely left the room in a week. Logan takes her for a walk and she comes straight back up here"
"That's sweet" Lorelai smiled "like a little guardian"
"I guess" Rory shrugged
"What's wrong?" Lorelai asked
"What makes you think something's wrong?"
"Rory, I've known you for 31 years. I know when you're upset, now spill"
"It's my fault" Rory said, trying not to cry
"No it's not"
"Logan was telling me to slow down, but I thought that it was fine and now-"
