The next day-

"What do you think Mr Waters is gonna do when he realizes that nobody's been listening in class?" Lexie asked

"What do you mean?" Lena asked as she opened her locker

"I mean that except for maybe you, nobody is passing this quiz"

Lena gave Lexie a confused look

"Do I need to spell it out for you?" Lexie asked "a blank wall would fall asleep listening to that man talk about Shakespeare. My sister took his class a few years ago and she told me that there was one day that the whole class fell asleep at the same time"

Lena didn't say anything

"What are you starting at?" Lexie tried to figure out what Lena was looking at "oh...that's what you're looking at" Lexie smiled when she realized that Lena was looking at Oliver "Is he a good kisser?"

"What?!" Lena snapped out of her thoughts "shut up" she turned around to face her locker

"He's coming over here" Lexie told her

"Hey" Oliver said, causing Lena to turn around

"Uh...hi" Lena said

"Hi" Oliver said

"I uh...I have your ball" Lena said

"Oh"

"I'll bring it to practice for you"

"Thanks"

"Lexie, do we have class?" Lena asked "we have class. See you later" she grabbed Lexie's hand "let's go"

Lena led Lexie into the bathroom. Lexie gave Lena a look

"Don't" Lena warned

"That was sad"

"I'm going to class now" Lena said and left the bathroom

Later that evening Lena and Daniel were sitting across from each other at the kitchen table, doing homework when Logan got home

"Cut it out!" Lena shouted

"No!" Daniel shouted back and continued making kissy noises at her

Logan walked into the kitchen "why are you fighting?"

"He's being a dick!"

"Hey!" Logan exclaimed

"Sorry, but he is"

"I wasn't doing anything!" Daniel said

"Liar"

"What's he doing?" Logan asked

"He's making kissing noises at me"

"Oh sorry, I forgot, you only want Oliver to do that" daniel teased

Lena's cheeks went red

"Daniel, go do your homework in my office" Logan said

"But-"

"Go"

Logan was sitting on the couch, working on his laptop when Rory came home an hour and a half later.

"Hey" she leaned down to kiss him

"Hi"

"Why's it so quiet?"

"Lena's at soccer. Daniel's at baseball. Bethany's here, she and Sophie are in her room doing whatever 11 year old girls do"

Rory nodded and sat down next to Logan. He put his laptop on the coffee table and wrapped his arm around her, allowing Rory to snuggle into him.
