"Here you go" a nurse handed Rory the baby

"Oh, my god" Rory whispered. A tear rolled down her face

"She's beautiful. You did good, Ace" Logan said and kissed Rory's cheek

"Hi baby" Rory said, softly

"It was worth the pain, wasn't it?" The doctor asked

"Absolutely" Rory smiled "sorry about your hand, by the way" she looked up at Logan who was opening and closing his fist

"It's ok, Ace" he chuckled "the feeling's already starting to come back"

Rory held the baby for a while and then Logan held her before the nurses took her to get checked out and so Rory could sleep.

About half an hour later Rory woke up to see Logan walking around, holding Lena

"Logan"

"Hey, you're up" Logan said, quietly "how are you feeling?"

"Sore"

"Do you need anything?"

"Come sit with me" Rory patted the space next to her on the bed

Logan sat down next to Rory

"Gimme" Rory said

"What?"

"The baby, Logan" Rory said "I wanna hold my kid"

"Here" Logan handed Lena to Rory

"She's amazing"

"You both are" Logan said and kissed Rory's cheek "oh, before I forget, here" Logan put Rory's rings back on her finger

"Thank you. Do you have my necklace?"

"I do" Logan pulled a box out of his pocket and handed it to Rory "here"

"What is this?"

"Your necklace" Logan grinned

"Logan..."

"Just open it"

Rory opened the box to see a necklace:

AN: but it says 'Lena Ann' and '6•17•2011' and doesn't have the small writing on the bottom

"Logan..."

"Ace"

"How did you even do this? She was born an hour ago"

"Do you like it?"

"I love it. But you didn't have to-"

"I wanted to" he interrupted her "can I put it on you?"

"Yes, please"

A little while later Lorelai, Luke, Richard, Emily, Christopher, Gigi, and Honor were walking into the room. Logan was sitting on the bed next to Rory. Logan was holding Lena.

"Oh, my god!" Lorelai squealed, softly as they all walked into the room "she's gorgeous" lorelai said, tearing up

"Rory, Logan, she's just beautiful" Emily said

"Thank you" Rory put a hand on Lena

"Can I hold her?" Lorelai asked, wiping a tear away

"Wash your hands first?" Logan said

"So how do you feel?" Honor asked

"Tired" Rory exhaled

"Ok, gimme" Lorelai said, reaching for Lena

"Here you go, grandma" Logan handed Lena to lorelai

"Definitely not!" Lorelai said

"What?" Rory asked

"I'm am far too young to be grandma" Lorelai said

"Hey, that's your doing, not mine" Rory said

"Either way, nobody better ever call me grandma" Lorelai say

"Then what do you suggest she call you?"

"I'll get back to you on that"

A few hours later Rory was sleeping and Logan was feeding Lena a bottle when there was a knock on the door.

"It's me" Lorelai said quietly

"Come in" Logan whispered

"She sleeping?"

"Yeah" Logan nodded "she needs it. She's was awake for over 24 hours"

"What about you?"

"I'm great" Logan smiled

"God, you guys are gonna be such great parents"

"Thank you. That means a lot" Logan said "and thanks for your help with the necklace."

"Of course. Did she like it?"

"Yeah."

"Good, I'm glad"

Rory groaned and turned around to look at Logan and Lorelai.

"How you feeling, kid?" Lorelai asked

"Sore" Rory groaned

"Can i get you anything?" Lorelai offered

"I'm ok" Rory yawned

"Go back to sleep, Ace"

A couple of days later everyone had gone home. Rory And Logan were at home with Lena. Rory was sitting on the couch feeding Lena.

"Do we need anything else, while I'm out?" Logan asked

"What's on the list already?"

"Oranges, that flavored water stuff you like, milk, and baby powder, since we somehow didn't get any"

"I think we're good"

"Ok. I'll be back soon" he kissed Rory then kissed Lena forehead "I love you both"
