Family Time

"Where do you want this?" Logan asked, when they got home from Rory's doctors appointment and shopping and were putting everything away in the nursery

"What is that?"

"Baby soap"

"Bathroom"

"This one or ours?"

"I think ours. I don't really think the bathroom in here will be used for a couple of years"

"Ok"

Rory's cell phone rang

"Hello?"

"Loin fruit!"

"Still gross"

"When are you coming to visit next?"

"We're gonna come next weekend and it'll be the last time I can fly until after the baby's born"

"How many weeks are you, now?"

"29"

"Ok, so you're gonna be here next weekend?"

"Yeah"

"I'll see you up at the dragonfly"

"Thanks"

"By the way, April's gonna be in town too"

"Oh good! We haven't seen her in awhile"

"Anyway I have to go. Bye" Lorelai hung up

"My moms being weird" Rory chuckled

"What do you mean, weird?"

"I don't know. Weird"

"Ok...what goes in here?" Logan asked holding up the diaper bag "other than the obvious?"

"What's obvious to you?"

"Diapers, wipes, changing pad, clothes and hand sanitizer"

"Burp cloths, pacifiers, diaper cream, blanket"

"Ok"

"When do you start maternity leave?" Logan asked Rory, who was sitting at the kitchen table, typing on her laptop

"In a few weeks"

"Ace..." Logan whined

"Hey, I'm working from home, now. Doesn't that count for anything?"

"I guess" Logan sat down next to her put a glass of water in front of her "but you have to take it easy"

"I am taking it easy"

"Before I forget, our flight got cancelled. We can either take a different flight out tonight or on Saturday morning. I booked for tonight but I can change that if you want"

"Tomorrow's Friday"

"I know"

"You work on Friday"

"I have tomorrow off"

"Ok. So we're going tonight?"

"Yup"
