"What are you doing?" Rory asked, when she walked into the living room to see Lena covering Daniel with stickers

"Decorating Danny" Lena giggled

"stickers!" Danny exclaimed

"Why?"

"I don't know" Lena shrugged

Rory went downstairs into the office, where Logan was.  "They really need to go back to school"

"What happened?" Logan asked

"She's covering him with stickers"

"What?" Logan laughed

"They're bored"

"They're not bored" Logan said "just because they find doing weird things fun doesn't mean that they're bored. They did weird stuff before Sophie was born too"

"I feel bad" Rory sighed "when you're a kid you're supposed to spend summer vacation doing fun things, not stuck in your house, doing nothing because your baby sister can't go anywhere because can't get sick"

"How about this" Logan said "on Monday one of us will stay home with peanut and the other will take Lena and Daniel to do something fun"

"Deal" Rory smiled

The doorbell rang

"Mama! Daddy! There's someone at the door!" Lena shouted

"I'm coming!" Rory said. She went upstairs and opened the door to see Emily and Richard standing there "um...hi"

"Good morning!" Emily said, cheerfully

"Rory, you look wonderful. How are you feeling?" Richard said

"Thank you. I'm feeling fine" Rory said, confused as to why they were there "please don't take this the wrong way but what are you doing here?"

"We came to visit you guys" Richard said

"And to meet the baby" Emily added

"Right, well, can I get you anything?"

"No no, we're fine" Richard said as they walked through the house

"Lena, Danny, look who's here" Rory said as they walked into the living room

"Hi!" Both kids said, still focused on the stickers

"He's covered in stickers" Richard said

"Yes, he is" Rory nodded

"Why is he covered in stickers?"

"I honestly don't know, but they're having fun"

"Where are Logan and the baby?" Emily asked

"Logan's in the office, working, and Sophie's down there with him" Rory said

"Sophie?" Richard questioned

"Sophie...the baby"

"Right. Right" Richard nodded

"Well, can we meet her?" Emily asked

Rory sighed, knowing that her grandparents might not really understand "there are a few rules regarding the baby"

"What do you mean rules?" Emily raised an eyebrow

"She was born really early, which means she has an underdeveloped immune and respiratory system, so there are some precautions to make sure that she doesn't get sick" Rory explained "for starters, you can't hold her"
