Meet Lena

AN: this will be more of a filler chapter that will help bring me into the next chapter.

"Over here!" Lorelai waved Rory and Logan over when she saw them walk out of the terminal, Rory holding Lena

"Hey mom"

"Hi" lorelai took Lena from Rory

"Oh- ok then" Rory's stuttered

"2 months is way too long without seeing you guys" Lorelai said

"I'm sorry, but I was not taking my kid on a plane until she had a fully developed immune system" Rory said

"It takes 2 months for babies to have an immune system?" Lorelai asked

"Apparently" Logan said

"So, inn first or Luke's?" Lorelai asked

"As much as I need coffee we should probably drop our stuff off first" Rory said

"Leave it in the car" Lorelai said

"Oh, my god!" Rory shouted "we don't have a car seat"

"Mom brain much?" Lorelai chuckled "I told you yesterday I was gonna borrow one from Sookie"

"Oh yeah" Rory said and Logan rubbed her back

"Hi Luke!" Rory said when she walked into the diner with Logan and Lorelai who was holding Lena

"Hey! You look great. How do you feel?" Luke said

"Tired" Rory chuckled

"You want coffee?" Luke offered

"Please"

Rory, Logan and Lorelai sat down at a table

"Mom" Rory said

"What?"

"Can I have my kid back?"

"Nope"

"Mom"

"But she's so cute" Lorelai whined

"Fine"

"I don't think I've ever seen this place empty" Logan said

"Doesn't happen often" Luke said, joining them at the table

The door opened

"Oh, my god!" Babette yelled "Rory, she's just adorable!"

"Babette, volume" Lorelai said

"Oh, sorry" Babette said

"That's alright" Rory said

"Can I hold her?" Babette asked

"If she'll let you" Rory said

Lorelai handed Lena to Babette and Lena started crying.

"Sorry" Babette said, handing Lena to Rory

"That's ok" Rory stood up and gently rocked Lena "she only really stays quiet if she's on me or Logan"

"How old is she, now?" Babette asked

"2 months" Logan said

"Rory!" Patty said, coming into the diner

"Hi Patty" Rory said, still rocking Lena

"Oh, she's beautiful" Patty said "can I hold her?"

"I already tried. She got mad" Babette said

"The baby, not me" Rory said
