A couple of weeks later, Rory and Logan were sitting in the doctor's office.
"Hi Rory.How are you feeling today?" The doctor asked, when she walked into the room
"Anxious" Rory chuckled "I mean, I don't really care if it's a boy or a girl but I really wanna know"
"Well, then let's get started" the doctor said
The doctor put the gel on Rory's stomach and started to move the ultrasound wand around.
"Ok, first of all, everything looks good. Baby seems healthy"
Rory nodded.
"And it looks like you're having a...girl"
Rory gasped
"What you say, Ace? Another Lorelai?" Logan asked, excitedly and then noticed Rory was crying "why are you crying?"
"I don't know" Rory said through tears, earning laughs from both Logan and the doctor.
"Happy tears?" The doctor asked
Rory nodded and wiped her cheek "we're gonna have a girl"
"We're gonna have a girl!" Logan kissed her quickly

"What are you doing?" Logan asked from his position in bed
"Looking for the book" Rory said as she opened and closed drawers in the dresser
"You wanna be more specific, Ace?"
"That giant book my mom gave us with all the names in it"
"You don't wanna name her Lorelai?"
"You do?"
"I just figured you'd wanna continue the tradition"
"I don't know, I think 4 Lorelais is a bit much" Rory said "although an L name could be good. Fits our theme"
"Theme?"
"Yeah. Logan starts with an L, and my name is technically Lorelai, which also starts with an L"
"So, what L name do you like?"
"I don't know. That's why I'm looking for the book"
"Come here. We don't need the book"
Rory got into bed next to Logan
"You have a name in mind" Rory said "I can tell"
"Maybe" Logan smiled
"What is it?"

"What time does your mom get here?" Logan asked
"Her plane lands at 12" Rory said. She was sitting at the kitchen table with her head down
"Still nauseous?" Logan put a hand on her back and she nodded "I'll go pick your mom up
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. You relax"
A little while later Logan was standing in the airport, waiting for Lorelai.
"Hi Logan" Lorelai hugged Logan "not to be rude, but, I thought Rory was coming"
"She's not feeling great so I told her I'd come"
"Is she ok?"
"Yeah, just nauseous."
They drove to Rory and Logan's house
