"Oh, I'm so excited!" Rory said as she walked into a bookstore, holding Danny, with Logan who was holding Lena
"Ace, calm down" Logan chuckled
"Can't!"
They walked around for a moment before Rory found the display with her book
"Ahh!" Rory squealed
"Can I just remind you that you're holding a sleeping baby?" Logan said
"Mama, you're gonna wake up nugget"
"What she said"
"Look at it!" Rory said, quieter "it looks so good!"
"You've seen it already" Logan reminded her
"Not in a store"
"I have to admit, it does look good" Logan kissed her head
"Written by Rory Huntzberger" Lucy said from behind them "amazing. Isn't it?"
"Oh, my god!" Rory gasped "you're here?"
"I'm here" Lucy hugged Rory
"Hi Lucy" Logan smiled
"Logan" Lucy said "oh, my god, she's huge!"
"Lena, do you remember Lucy?" Logan asked
Lena shook her head and buried her face in Logan's shoulder
"She's shy" Rory said
"That's ok" Lucy said "And this must be Daniel"
"No. We actually got rid of Daniel" Rory joked "this is Stewie Griffin"
"Ace, come on!"
"He's adorable. They both are"
"Thank you" Rory said
"Oh, my god. We should all have dinner" Lucy said "you guys, Paris and Doyle, Olivia and Matthew, and me and husband"
"Oh, that would be so fun!" Rory said
"Right?!"
"Mama" Lena tugged on Rory's sleeve
"Yeah baby?"
"qui est-ce?" She whispered

"This is my friend, Lucy"
"She speaks French?!" Lucy asked, surprised
"Mhmm" Rory nodded
"Of course your kid is a genius"
Lucy's phone chirped
"Oh, I actually need to go" Lucy said "but I'll call you about the dinner thing"

That afternoon they were in the car on the way to Stars Hollow.
"I forgot to tell you, Sookie wants us to have dinner at the dragonfly
"I like Sookie!" Lena said
"I know" Rory smiled
"Why does she want us to eat there?" Logan asked
"I guess a bunch of people are gonna be there or something" Rory said "we don't have to go if it's a problem"
"Not a problem"
"Good"
Rory's phone rang
"It's my dad" Rory said before putting the phone to her ear "dad?"
