So... remember when you said what else could go wrong.
Well... you're pretty sure something else went wrong.

Crowley had led you down dark halls until you reached a large gathering of people dressed in identical robes to what you had on. However, there was one thing you noticed rather quickly. The room was completely devoid of any sort of female presence before you had showed up.

Men! They were all men. Boys with the strangest hair colors, eyes clouded with dark eyeshadow, and some who even had animal ears. What sort of cosplay cult is this?!

Among the sea of males, in the very front of the room showed a large mirror with designs you noted to be almost identical to those of the mirror in Mrs. Mildred's library attic.

Despite the matted murmurs filling up the room, a voice was particularly loud and clear. Well, to you at least. "We're done with orientation and dorm assignments? All right, new students—let me be clear. At Heartslabyul House, I am the law. Break the rules, and it's off with your head!" You flinched back a bit. His voice was smooth yet sharp and stern. You looked up, slightly lifting up the saggy hood to match his face to his voice. It was a boy who stood just a few inches taller than you, with large, steel gray eyes and red hair. Two tuffs of red strands on the top of his head seemed to form a heart.
How could a teenage boy be so cute while threating to behead new arrivals?
The thought made your lips curve into a small smile.

In contrary to the stern voice from before of the redhead boy, another strong yet lazy voice caught your attention with a yawn. "Well, that ceremony was as boring as ever. I'm going back to the dorm. If you're in Savanaclaw House, follow me." He said carelessly while throwing a thumb over his shoulder and brushing his long mane of brown hair away from his face. Wait. We're those lion ears? Your smile widened. That's adorable! Even on a grumpy face like his. And even from your distance, you could still make out those two piercing green eyes. One of which had a scar running through it. Despite not knowing him at all, you were glad whatever caused it didn't harm that beautiful iris.

"New students!" Another voice called out to the crowd. "Allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your achievement.
As dorm leader of Octavinelle House, I am honored to have the opportunity to support you in what I hope will be a fulfilling campus experience." You had to let out a breathy giggle that seemingly went unnoticed by Crowley. However, Grim pointed a raised eyebrow at you. The male who had said the small welcome speech was rather cute. His skin was pale and his eyes and hair colored matched with a bleached grayish-blue color. His hair was also beautiful. Silky with one very prominent curl. He wore glasses and had the prettiest beauty mark below his lip to the left side of his face. However, his voice caused your small giggle as it was extravagant and seemingly mischievous. That smirk didn't help his case either.

Another seemingly important male spoke up. "Hey, does anyone know where the headmage went? He disappeared midway through the ceremony..." This particular male had the be the prettiest boy or even girl you've ever seen. Tall, pale, blonde with lavender ends, he was like a portrait. Not a blemish to be seen. His voice was smooth as well. He practically screamed elegance in every way.

"Some headmage he is." A painfully sarcastic voice sounded from a floating blue tablet. You would be confused of how it was currently defying physics, but you decided to just be amazed instead. Maybe this was a dream. A very strange fever dream only a teenage girl could conjure up.

Yet another boy spoke up. "Maybe he had a tummyache?" You actually let out a chuckle that Crowley did seem to caught this time. The boy who had said it was absolutely adorable. Even with his red pointed eyes, you could tell just by the smile he wore that he was a cinnamon roll. He had tanned skin and short white hair with a purple turban wrapped loosely around his head in bow.

After sending you a little annoyed glance, Crowley spread his arms and shouted, "I most certainly did not!" You took a step to the side as everyone in the room turned to look at him. You're face blossomed red/with embarrassment as you hid deeper into your hood.

The redhead was the first to speak up. "Ah, speak of the devil." Crowley puffed out his chest. "If you must know, I was searching for the new student who'd failed to show for orientation. You are the only one who has yet to be assigned a dorm. Step up to the Dark Mirror, and be quick about it. I'll watch your weasel." Grim certainty did not appreciate the name as far as you could tell.

Crowley silently ushered you forwards as the crowd of boys in robes created a path for you to approach the large, floating mirror. You would protest being Grim's owner and having to go over to the mirror, but with the amount of eyes on you, whether they were impatient, curious, annoyed, or tired, made you bite your tongue and shuffle towards the front of the room, trying to hide as much as you can into your robes as those around you tried guessing which dorm you would be put in. The names Pomefiore and Ignihyde seemed to be the most popular.

Once you approached the mirror, the same greenish mask with black markings on it appeared in front of you once more. You stepped back in slight shock, nearly tripping over your robes. Despite having no eyes, it was able to stare down into your soul.

"State your name." The same harsh, booming voice of the mirror rang out causing you to try to create just the slightest more distance.

"Y/N L/N." You said standing tall. However, your voice was shakier than intended and almost came out as a question.

"Y/N... The nature of your soul is...

...unclear to me."

Silence overtook the room.

Crowley cleared his throat. "What did you just say?" He asked, not believing the situation in the slightest as he stepped closer to the two of you.

"I sense no magical power from this young lady.

Soundless. Colorless. Shapeless. Utterly vacant.

Therefore, no dorm would be appropriate."

Well damn.

Crowley gaped. "Are you suggesting that the black carriage went to receive a person who cannot even use magic? A-And a female no less!"

Whispering filled the room along with disbelief. Meanwhile, you shot Crowley a blank look. "Did you really not realize?" You questioned. Sure the robe covered most, if not all your curves, but still.

Crowley gulped, sweating slightly as he pulled on his collar. "W-Well some of the young men here tend to be on the more... feminine side of looks. But no matter for this is simply absurd! The student selection process has not erred once in its century of existence! How could this have happened?"

You flinched, feeling unwelcome and confused. Had you done something wrong? The gazes burning into your back certainly didn't help.

Before human or mirror could speak, a certain cat broke free of his restraints. "Boy or girl, doesn't matter! Unlike that human, I can actually use magic! So let me be a student here! Look, I'll show you! My spells're the cat's meow!"

Oh no.
