Long Time No See -111-

"Tch, there's no end to them!" Leona growled as he fired off another spell in the Charon's direction, the robot hissing as it faltered in its pursuit. One of the operators, carefully watching the monitor in the back of the room, grimaced. "Twenty more powered armors are on their way!" They warned.

Holding his chin, Azul pursed his lips as he finished off another Charon. "Hmm... Maybe we should have accepted Ortho's deal and opened a Blue Ocean in the new world instead." He pondered out loud. Riddle whipped his head around to glare at him. "Don't be ridiculous!" He cried, "Their ideal world is thick with Blot and riddled with Phantoms. It will take a long time before it is deemed livable!"

From the middle of the room, Vil let out a small sigh and shook his head. "I will now exercise my authority as Pomefiore's Housewarden. I agree that technique and beauty acquired through effort and diligence are admirable. Reducing all of that effort to nothing is close to unforgivable." He claimed, sending a shot of glittering magic towards the robots who had the audacity to even look his gorgeous way.

An operator beside the monitors looked back with wide eyes hidden behind their mask. "100 meters until the powered armors reach the control room! Th-they're coming!" They screamed. Jamil's eyebrows twitched. "Are none of you combat-ready?" The brunet stressfully bellowed.

"Most researchers working in S.T.Y.X. are normal civilians," a mechanic responded from hiding behind a chair, "We were chosen because we have little to no magical energy that can produce Blot...!" Leona only scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Oh, yeah. That makes perfect sense."

With a grimace, the operator hit a few more buttons on the panel only for it to deny them access again and again. "All of the magical weapons are under Ortho's control right now. We can't even touch them." They said firmly before another spoke up. "30 more meters until the powered armors arrive! ......!? Wh-what is this...?"

The mechanic whipped her head around to stare at him with wide eyes hidden by her mask. "What's wrong!?" She questioned. "Three of the powered armors are frozen in their tracks..." the other answered, "There are five... No, seven now... They're all in a deadlock..."

In complete unison, they all lifted their arms up, laser-beams charging in mere seconds before being ready to fire. "Target located. Eliminate." The center one said in an ominous voice, eyes glowing blue. Vil gritted his teeth, magic accumulating in his magical pen. "They're here. On your guard!" He warned the others.

However, before anyone could do anything, soft words echoed through the air from behind the Charon members. "Close your eyes, quiet your breathing... Sleep Kiss...!"

Sparkles of magic surrounded the Charon before lifting them up, the artificial light in their eyes dimming. "I did it! That went just as I planned!" A proud, victorious voice cried happily. Vil's eyes widened in realization. "My, that dialect... It can't be..."

Pushing through the glass coffins, the group of the three eyed the others in delight. "We finally found you, Vil!" Epel shouted. The blonde blinked. "Epel!" He exclaimed. Rook threw his arms up in a dramatic display. "Oh, how I've missed you, our dearest Queen of Poisons!"

You beamed at the group. "Long time no see! I'm so glad to see you're all safe." You said thankfully before they descended on you like sharks. Actually, a bunch of mother hens fitted more.

Azul put a hand over his heart and sighed in relief. "We could say the same." You sent him a gentle smile before Jamil placed a hand over your cheek, bringing your face back to him as he worriedly looked it over. "Are you hurt? Scratches, bruises, anything?" He interrogated before dropping his hand from your check to take a hold of your hands, flipping them over from front to back to look them over.
