You lost.

You lost so badly.

Holding the tablet Idia had been smack talking you through, you stared at the red you lose screen with a cringing expression on your face. Meanwhile, the winner let out a strange but endearing laugh of victory. "Whee hee hee! I won, which was only to be expected by a seasoned gamer such as myself." The male said in an elated tone.

Ortho happily clapped his hands next to you. "Great job, big brother! Good job to you as well, Y/N L/N. I saw you land a few good hits on Idia's character." The robotic boy cheered. You forced a smile at the young boy. "Thanks, Ortho." You muttered.

"Haha! That'll teach you to go challenging an Ignihyde student to a computer game." Idia jeered. Sweat dropping, you lightly scratched you cheek. "Yeah... I don't know what I was thinking." You mumbled, holding back the part where you were desperate.

Carefully releasing your hold on the device, you bit the inside of you cheek. "Well, I guess that settles things. Good game, Idia. Ortho, it was a pleasure seeing you. I'll be leaving now." You said awkwardly, already dreading having to see Deuce's puppy dog like face waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs.

The young robot held a hand up to his mouth with wide, almost teary eyes. "You're leaving already?" He asked in a sad tone. You gave him an apologetic grin. "Deuce is waiting for me. But I'm sure I'll see you around. So... see ya later, Ortho." You said with a slight wave.

You turned around, preparing to walk away when Idia's unsure voice came through the floating device again. "Ahh... You said you only needed the blastcycle for an hour, right?" He drew out slowly. You quickly whipped around and nodded. "An hour at most, yes." You answered speedily.

Sighing, the tablet lowered itself down in defeat. "Ugh...! Fine, you can use it. But don't damage it in any way. And, you only get an hour, got that?" You held back a squeal as you rushed forwards to hug the tablet. "Yes! Thank you-thank you-thank you!" You cheered as Ortho clasped his hands together and let out a buzz of happiness. "That's so kind, big brother!" He praised.

Idia let out a string of tiny, embarrassed sounding mumbles before quickly forcing the device out of you hold. "Yeah, whatever. Just remember what I said. C'mon, Ortho." The male sputtered with a red face. But you were on the other side of the door, so you didn't need to know that.

With that, the tablet flew back inside of the room with, after bidding you a joyful goodbye, Ortho following not far behind. "Bye! Thanks again guys!" You yelled before running off. Somehow, Idia had a blastcycle waiting for you at the front doors of Ignihyde.

Smiling, you grabbed the handles and began carefully walking down the stairs. Deuce was at the bottom of them, nervously pacing back and forth. Upon hearing someone climbing down, he looked up and beamed. "Y/N! You're back. And you got the blastcycle!" He cheered with starry eyes.

You grinned and nodded at him excitedly. "I know! I could hardly believe it myself. But we only have an hour, so let's get going." You said. Deuce nodded in agreement before getting onto the bike. He started the engine which roared out smoothly and smirked. "Heh. Let's see if I still got it. Y/N, hop on!" The navy haired male shouted.

Hurriedly, you swung a leg over the bike and wrapped your arms around Deuce's midsection with a tiny blush. After making sure you were secure, Deuce started the blastcycle and drove off.

Meanwhile, walking down Main Street was Epel with a pout. He sighed and crossed his arms. "Now everything's a doozy of a mess. This is all because that Dark Mirror plunked me into Pomefiore..." The lavender haired male grumbled in annoyance. "I don't understand a lick of his gobbledygook. What am I supposed to do now?"
