Once the four of you had entered the mirror hall, Ace and Deuce had lead you and Grim to the mirror on the far left, claiming it to be theirs. Once you stepped in, you were amazed at the scenery around you. A tall, red structure in the form of a castle stood in front of you, accompanied by white and black details around it. The trail leading up to the front door (which was also a big heart) was made of stone with a fountain further at the end. Along the path was several red rose bushes cut to be in the shape of hearts lining it. The dorm's flag hung from a black lamppost in front of you.

However, the most obvious thing about this place was how it was riddled with hearts. Not truly surprising seeing as the dorm was dedicated to the Queen of Hearts herself.

"Wow! This place is wonderful!" You said with a beaming smile, trying to take in every bit of the dorm you could. Grim jumped forward. "Yeah, this place is swank! This is nothing like our dumpster of a dorm."

You glanced down at the furry monster with an eyebrow raised. "Okay, first of all, what does 'swank' even mean? Second, comparisons will only make you more miserable." You said causing Grim to roll his eyes with a quick groan.

Ace eagerly began walk to the left to several bushes that didn't seem to have a certain direction. "Glad ya like it, but we gotta find the housewarden so he can take this thing off of me." He said. Following him with Deuce by your side, you raised an eyebrow. "Don't you mean apologize?" Ace waved his hand behind him. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Same thing."

The deeper you went into the rose maze, the more cans of red paint laid about it. Some of the bushes strangely enough had red paint dripping from their white petals. They weren't painting literal roses, right? Wait, where had you seen this before?

Eventually the three of you came across a boy with bright orange hair sweeping his red tinted paintbrush along the white flowers. "Aww yeah, I am getting my paint on!" He cheered with a smile. Only then did you notice the small red diamond on his cheek. This dorm really had a thing for face paint, huh?

"Ah, someone's here." Grim chided quietly as the four of you peeked around a bush at him. The boy leaned over to wet his brush again before drenching another white rose in paint. "They all gotta be red, or it's "off with my head"!" He laughed. What could that mean? And why was he painting flowers in the first place.

Deuce's eyes lit up. "Oh! I think he's a senior. Maybe he could help us find Riddle." He whispered. You stepped out from behind the bush and began to walk towards him, much to the boys' surprise. "Then let's go ask him." You said as the other three joined in behind you.

Putting your hands behind your back, you offered a small, polite smile. "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be too busy at the moment, would you?" You questioned respectfully. The boy whipped his head around, gorgeous moss green eyes staring into your own in question. His light, orange hair was pulled back by two clips and wore two tiny, silver earrings. Crap, he was cute. Part of your mind started screaming to abort mission.

"Huh...? You guys need something?" He questioned staring you four over. Ace put a hand on his hip and raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing there?" He asked. The boy outstretched his arms slightly to present the half painted rose bush. "Are you blind? I'm painting these roses red, duh."

Deuce eyes widened, shock overtaking his face as if he hadn't noticed the boy painting from before. "What? Why?!" Finally someone asked the question you've been dying to know. The male laughed. "Ah ha ha. So naïve, you put the "n" in newb."

His green eyes widened after taking you specifically in for a few seconds more. "Hold the phone, I know you! You're the ones who broke a billion-thaumark chandelier and nearly got expelled for it, yeah?" Ace groaned. "That chandelier is gonna haunt us till the day we graduate, isn't it?" You sighed and nodded. "Yup."
