Rook let out a saddened sigh as he dodged another one of Vil's attacks. "Oh, Vil... This act is an offense against beauty. Please, cease this!" The blonde pleaded. Epel nodded in agreement as he fired off another spell at the overblot monster. "Yeah! This ain't like you!" He yelled.

Vil just let out a crazed laugh as he flicked his bangs away. "Once everyone is gone... I will be the fairest one of all!" The beautiful male said as blasted out a wave of magic. You almost fell over at the sudden force, quick to steady yourself back on your feet.

Epel grunted. "Agh... He's strong! How's he so powerful?!" The lavender haired male complained. "Do not give up, Epel," the vice housewarden advised, "We must win back the fair Roi du Poison!" Annoyed with all the chatter, Vil gritted his teeth. "Silence! I'll grind you all into dust!" He promised.

As the battle went on, the dark smoke around you began to dwindle and fade out, letting some light poke through the darkness. "Look! The sun's coming out again! That must mean we've almost got him!" You shouted with a grin, readying another apple from the concession stand to throw at him. It might not have done a lot, but it did annoy him which was at least something.

"The fairest... one of all is..." Vil grumbled as faltered in the air. He suddenly gritted his teeth in new found determination and set off another round of spells. "Rrgh... You meddling spuds! If I must, then I shall drag all of you down with me!" Vil threatened with a snarl.

Kalim sniffled. "Vil, please, you have to stop! You're not going to survive if you keep this up!" The white haired male warned. Jamil grunted in annoyance. "Rgh! We're so close to breaking his blot form." He complained as he fired off another spell shortly followed by you throwing an apple protein bar. "Just a little more," you promised, "he's getting weaker!"

"Well, I'm running dry on magic over here!" Ace shouted back with a bead of sweat on his brow. Grim bobbed his head in agreement. "Yeah, I can't breathe another puff of fire!" The cat whined, puffing out a trail of dark smoke. "Stay on your feet, everyone. We need to at least get clear of the poison mist..." Rook exclaimed from the other side of the destroyed stage.

Suddenly, Deuce's eyebrows went from being scrunched together to rising up as if an idea had hit him. "Everybody, get down!" He screamed. The group glanced at him in surprise, not quite understanding his angle. "Huh?!" Grim spluttered in shock.

Epel was the first to catch on, squatting down in a readied position. "Ah... I get it! Everybody, do what Deuce says, lickety-split!" He shouted. Your eyes widened in realization.

"My brain doesn't work well under pressure," Deuce began to admit, "I can't understand things unless I hammer them in repeatedly. But... If something is hammered into me enough, then I'm able to turn it into something worthwhile!" The navy haired male explained, his red gemmed pen glittering with magic.

Rook looked at the first year in shock. "What's this? An aura of power is rising up around Deuce!" He cried. Ace's face was still scrunched up in confusion. "Wait, what?! Is that...?!" He didn't get to finish as you had tackled him on the back, hence sending the both of you to the floor. If Deuce was doing what you think he was going to do, it would be a powerful blast.

Vil trembled. "How... is that possible? How did you keep that much magic... in reserve?!" Cried the overblot. Deuce narrowed his eyes. "It's not my magic, Vil. It's the power you've hammered into me! And now it's a power that only I have! It's payback time! Get a load of this! DOUBLE DOWN!"

You put your head down next to Ace's, bracing for impact. It was like a wave of magic had hit you head on. If you hadn't been tucked down, you'd probably fly off. Hesitantly, you peeked up, seeing Vil getting cocooned in a familiar ink. You huffed and prepared yourself. After all, it was your time to shine.
