Everyone looked towards Kalim. "Yes. Floyd and Jade can easily outpace brooms when they're in their true forms. But we can't exactly restore a dry river..." Azul mumbled with his arms crossed. Kalim grinned, planting his hands on his hips with a large grin. "Maybe you can't, but I can."

The three Octavinelle boys' eyes widened. "Huh?" They all exclaimed. You snapped your fingers in realization with smile. "Oh yeah, your signature spell! You did that at the Oasis." You said. Kalim happily nodded. "My signature spell, Oasis Maker, can produce an enormous volume of water with just a smidgen of magical power. If I make you a river, you can get us back to the dorm, right?" Kalim explained before looking over at the three mermen.

Azul slowly raised a shaky finger at Kalim with a bewildered look. "Y-You mean to tell me THAT'S your signature spell?! That's insane!" He cried out. The white haired male just laughed. "Aha ha! It's pretty useless when we've already got running water." He claimed.

The octopus just glared at him. "Don't "aha ha" me! Some places don't HAVE that sort of infrastructure. Your power would make you nothing short of a hero to those people! That's... That's... ABSURDLY marketable!" Azul yelled, practically foaming at the mouth.

You deadpanned at him while Jade chuckled. "I think we can leave Azul to his get-rich-quick fantasies for a bit. Kalim, if you would oblige us?" The eel said, gesturing towards the empty river. "You just need a river, right? Okay! I'm on it." The male in question declared, bouncing forwards and pulling out his magic pen.

Once he finished chanting his spell, water began coming down by the gallon into the empty land, quickly filling up to become a river once again. Grim's eyes widened in shock. "Holy mackerel... The river's fillin' up with water right before our eyes!" He exclaimed.

The twins immediately jumped in, soon turning into their mermen forms. Both their heads popped out of the water. "Let's get moving before the water freezes over, Floyd. Now, Azul and Grim, grab hold of my back." Jade said before swimming to the edge of the river.

Floyd appeared next to him. "Little Shrimpy and Sea Otter, you're with me!" He called. Knowing the ride wasn't going to be smooth, you adjusted Azul's coat so you were actually wearing it instead of it hanging off your shoulders.

Grim hopped onto Jade's back, Azul getting behind him. "Wait, but I thought Azul was a merman. Can't he swim himself?" The cat questioned curiously. Jade chuckled. "Azul isn't a fast swimmer, even in his mer form." Azul clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes. "Yes, well, not all of us have tailfins like yours. Now, off we go to Scarabia!" He argued.

You grinned in amusement before carefully climbing onto Floyd's back. Kalim jumped on right after you, arms quickly wrapping around you with a squeeze. "All aboard the S.S.Floyd! Yippee!" Floyd cried before beginning to swim about the same speed of a motorboat.

Water sprayed you in the face, making your clothes damp and heavy. "Woohoo! This is so much!" Kalim exclaimed as he rested his chin on your shoulder while keeping his arms securely around your waist. You smiled at him, glad there was something distracting him from the recent events.

Meanwhile, on the S.S.Jade, things were a little more chaotic. "Azul, I'm flying!" Grim cried with his arms outstretched wide. Azul, who was seemingly forced to hold Grim up by the waist, turned his head to the side in an attempted to save his face from being drenched. "I'm going to let go, Grim! I'm going to let go!" The latter cried as they both bounced from a particularly harsh bump Jade made while swimming.

You laughed at the scene. Soon enough, you were back at Scarabia. "Phew. Sorry 'bout that Azul. I was kinda caught up in the moment." The feline confessed before shaking his small body to rid himself of the water. However, this just ended up in Azul getting even more wet. "Right..." Azul said with a grimace.
