ANSWER
Classic Sonic: Well, you see, I was supposed to be voiced by Jaleel White in Sonic Generations, but it was dropped early in production. So that's why I became silent in the games.
Classic Knuckles: Jaleel White... Hmm, why does that name sound so familiar?
Classic Tails: He played Steve Urkel on Family Matters.
Classic Knuckles: Oh, yeah!
