Sonic: Well, I was just running through the Green Hill Zone until I saw him kidnapping some animals, and I couldn't just let him get away with abducting those innocent creatures for his own stupid ambitions! And as for the second part. Well, Eggman was somehow his name in Japan many years ago. But somehow after that, it became his actual name throughout the entire world.
