Shadow: What kind of question is that? Of course, I'm the real Shadow.
Rouge: Really? Then you must've survived that fall off the ARK when you and Sonic fought the Biolizard together.
Shadow: Well, you see, I was planning to die in Sonic Adventure 2. But because I was so damn popular in that game, they've put me back in Sonic Heroes as Eggman's "secret treasure."
E-123 Omega: So, my guess is that Eggman must've found you and somewhat took you in. That might've explained the room with many clones of you at his fortress.
Shadow: I guess.
