Chapter 72: Waking up to Hayden

My eyes popped even wider and so did the eyes of the small child.

Green piercing eyes, brown blondish hair, small pink lips, skinny and small hands.

Edward when he was small.

" Why are you here?" I asked to the hallucination.

" Why are you?" He asked in his small soft voice.

I started shivering. My lungs were closing on me.

" Do you have more water son?" A lady asked.

" Yes!" The boy answered.

" You're real? " I asked in shock.

I grabbed the wall and I started standing.

The boy eyed me weirdly.

I couldn't help it and I touched his arm as softly as I could, I trembled.

He felt warm... Not cold.

He retreated with a bit of fear on his face.

Then he started running while I was left in shock.

I swallowed and the woman glared at me.

" You never scare that boy! " She said angrily.

"He always saves up food from the orphanage and brings it to us!" She informed angrily.

I then felt an electric shock run through my body and I grabbed my backpack and I found myself running behind him within a snap of fingers.

He was running from me.

" Please don't go!" I yelled after him.

I ran behind him.

"Edward don't go!" I yelled like if I was holding my life line.

God that kid ran real fast.

I needed to know if he was Edward's child.

"Edward how many children do you wanna have? "

" You already asked me that a lot of times!"

I fake pouted.,

"Lots and lots since you don't want any." Edward pouted.

I rolled my eyes.

"How do you make babies?" I asked.

Edward started choking on his pizza.

" Oh Scarlett don't ask me that, again!" He said while his cheeks got tainted in pink.

" Why not? "

" Dad won't answer me. " I said sadly.

Edward gave me a hug.

" That's why I want to have lots and lots of children so they can hug their aunt and filled you up with love!" Edward chirped.

I smiled.

" What are you going to name if you get a boy then? "

" I've already told you! " Edward said.

" I don't like Alec." I said.

Edward frowned.

" What's wrong with it?"

I shrugged.

" Can't you add Hayden in his name? " I asked.

Edward chuckled but nodded.
