Investing With The Moon Pt. 3

Moon Knight lunged at M.O.D.O.K who blasted him away. You leaped around the room to avoid his laser which gave Cat enough time to throw a smoke pallet which would block his view. You then ignited your hand and threw a fireball which caused the smoke to light up and explode. You landed next to Cat as you both waited to see if it worked.

M.O.D.O.K: You fools!

The smoke cleared and he was untouched. Must've used his telepathy. You ignited another fire ball and threw it. It didn't hit him.

M.O.D.O.K: I learned from the castle. You rats won't even lay a finger on me...

Moon Knight: AHHHHHHHH!

Moon Knight charged right past you and leaped up. He stabbed his staff into M.O.D.O.K's barrier.

M.O.D.O.K: Did you not hear me?

Moon Knight: You underestimate me, my nephew, the kitty, and THE UNBELIEVABLE POWER OF DRUG USE!

Maybe there wasn't a God. You watched in amazment as his staff made it past the barrier and stabbed into M.O.D.O.K's chair which turned off the force field.

Y/N/Cat/Venom: What the actual hell?

Moon Knight leaped back and pointed to you.

Moon Knight: GIVE THEM HELL BUCKAROO!

You just stood there for a moment before you snapped out of ot and created a fire ball. You threw it which hit M.O.D.O.K's chair causing it to go crazy. His head beam started to go off at random and you all ducked behind cover. You and Cat were behind one table while Moon Knight was behind another.

Moon Knight: God I love coke.

Y/N: How did you even do that?

Moon Knight: Do what?

Y/N: You broke....you know what? Forget I asked.

Moon Knight: Okie dokie. Now let's kill him!

Y/N: We're not killing him. We're taking him down.

Moon Knight: Beat him til he can't breath anymore. Got it.

Cat: No murder!

Moon Knight: It's only murder if you get caught.

Y/N: Moony, please.

Moon Knight looked at you before fawning.

Moon Knight: You have a nickname for me. THAT'S FUCKING ADORABLE. Fine. We won't kill him.

He retracted the blade from his staff and reached into his pocket to pull put another moon shape blade.

Moon Knight: Guide my blade Moon Gods.

He then threw it backwards without looking you peeked over the table and saw it completely pass M.O.D.O.K.

Venom: He missssed.

The blade then curved and hit M.O.D.O.K from behind.

Venom: How?

Moon Knigh: A lot of practice. Maybe a moon deity.

You weren't questioning it. You leaped out from behind the table and blasted off towards M.O.D.O.K. You slammed right into him. You used your strength to slam him through the cement walls before moving your feet so that you were pushing him through the roof. You eventually made it outside where it was now night time. You let go of M.O.D.O.K and created a large fireball.

Y/N: THIS IS FOR HURTING THR PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT!

You slammed the fireball right into M.O.D.O.K who went crashing right back into the earth below. You allowed yourself to fall before catching yourself as you reached the ground. You slolwy lowered yourself near the crater you created where M.O.D.O.K laid, defeated. His chair was completely destroyed.

Moon Knight: GREAT FORM!

You turned around and watched as Cat grappled the two of them through the hole you created. You smiled at them as the approached.

Venom: Finally. I hated dealing with thisss guy.

Moon Knight: Looks like you got him. To bad we can't snap his neck.

Cat: That was impressive. I think you earned yourself a reward when we get back~

You smirked as you began to rub the bottom of her chin.

Cat: M-mmmm.

She started to pout.

Cat: Stop!

You removed your hand, still smiling. She looked up towards the sky and you followed her gaze. Stars. There were millions of them. You stood there with you mouth open in awe. It was so beautiful.

Venom: You're crying kid.

You raised a hand to your cheek. Tears. Not of sadness or defeat. Tears of joy. You felt a hand on your shoulder and turned to see Moon Knight standing there.

Moon Knight: Good job kid. Your mom would be proud.

You smiled before you returned you gaze to the sky. Suddenly the sound of a jet filled the sky. The four of you all looked up and found the Avengers landing their jet before storming out.

Moon Knight: Ahahaha. So busted.

Tony: I should've known.

You woke up kind of late on Thanksgiving day. You ended uo staying later than you thought at Nadia's for dinner. By the time you cam back, Felicia was asleep and Mokn Knight was no where to be found.

Venom: Happy Thanksssgiving kid. I'm sssorry you can't ssspend it with your family.

You smiled.

Y/N: What are you talking about? I already told you that you're my family. I really meant that.

Venom: Really?

You petted him.

Y/N: Really.

Venom: Well, even though you are a nerd, I like to consssider you family asss well.

You walked to the bathroom and got ready for the day. When you walked into the living room you found a surprising sight. It was the Avenegers in the kitchen cooking. No one was in their costumes either. You looked over and found Spidey sitting next to a red haired woman and you even found Viv and Felicia playing with Sparky. Nadia aas helping her mom make the stuffing and Moon Knight, who was still wearing his costume, was making mash potatoes.

Widow: Well look at who's awake.

Everyone turned to look at you.

Y/N: Hey, everyone. What's going on here?

Cap tossed down the rag he was holding and smiled.

Cap: We all got together and figured we could spend Thanksgiving together.

Banner: That's not a problem is it?

You looked around the room before smiling.

Y/N: No. Not at all.

You ended up meeting Peter's wife Mary Jane, MJ she suggested, and you ended up talking with her while Venom played around with Sparky. Viv, and Felicia sat next to you at the dinner table while Moon Knight carved the turkey. Of course he was using his moon knives.

Cap: Does anyone have anything to say?

Everyone looked to you. This was your first Thanksgiving after all. You gave it some thought before smiling and looking up.

Y/N: I'm thankful, for everything that's happened since I've joined the program. For the people I've met, the battles I've fought, and the struggles I faced. I'm thankful that, I have such an amazing family.
