I'm sure we've all been to that point where we're so hungry... but only for one specific thing, or maybe even for something closely related to it. Well, now I'm going to tell you why you might be craving a certain something, and maybe even what you should do about it. Just remember, sometimes the best thing to do is satisfy your craving by going ahead and pigging out! Don't worry about it, no one will judge you.

~Chocolate~
If you're craving chocolate, this means that you need more magnesium. Instead of eating chocolate, a healthier alternative could be eating nuts, vegetables, fruits, or seeds.

~Sugary Foods~
I crave sugary foods all the time so this actually explains a lot for me. When you're craving anything sugary you're either deficit of chromium (which means you should eat either broccoli, grapes, cheese, or chicken,) carbon (which means you should eat fresh fruits,) phosphorus (chicken, beef, fatty fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, veggies, or grain,) sulphur (cranberries, horseradish, cabbage, or cauliflower,) or tryptophan (cheese, raisins, sweet potatoes, or spinach.)

~Bread, Pasta, and other Carbs~
When you're craving carbs, it probably means that you're low on nitrogen, in which case you should eat high protein foods such as meat, fatty fish, nuts, beans, or chia seeds.

~Oily Foods~
This means you're low on calcium, and should probably eat cheese, green leafy vegetables, or drink organic milk.

~Salty Foods~
When you start craving salty foods it probably means you're low on chloride (fatty fish) or silicon (cashews, nuts, or seeds.)

I usually crave either banana bread or brownies... I'm drooling right now.
