well.. know that reading old messages with a used to be super close best friend can make you
cry,
laugh,
smile,
yell,
want ice cream,
crawl into a blanket,
think about fun/sad memories,
look at pictures from this past year,
cry some more,
want to break things,
hug a pillow,
reconsider life decisions,
cuddle with a cat,
cry again but with your cat,
but something worse than reading old messages when time was different.. is walking past that same person earlier today. i passed by a person who once knew all my secrets. who knew my love for unicorns, my passion for writing, and how much i hated the sound of styrofoam rubbing together.
they knew just about everything. but time is now, it's present, and all that person knows about me now is who i used to be.
i wonder if they read old messages. if i'm still the same person from those memories.
or maybe i am just a memory to them.. slowly fading into the wasteland of the forgotten.
