Naomi's POV

"Hey guys," I said as me and Macy walked up and I was turned around to Ethan. "Hey."

"Hey, you're kinda the only person I know here," He said.

"I didn't even know you go to school here," I said.

"I start today," he said. "You didn't tell me about them coming back."

"Ethan, I can handle myself," I said.

"You can only handle so much," he said. "You can't take all three."

"Yes I can," I said. "Just one by one."

"Are you really going to argue about this?" He asked.

"Ethan please, I still have to talk to Dre," I said.

"I have to talk to him too," he said. "Let me handle it."

"No Ethan," I said. "This is my fight."

"Skye, you know if I don't do something I'm going to end up having to do something," he said. "You know you can't beat me. Trust me."

"I'm still working on the trust," I said. "How many rules did you break?"

"3, you?" he asked.

"Drake said I broke some but he wouldn't tell me which ones," I said and someone cleared their throat and I turned around.

"Who's your friend?" Simone asked.

"This is Ethan," I said and looked for Jake.

"If you're looking for Jake, he went to talk to coach," Justice said.

"About what?" I asked.

"You," He said.

"What'd you do?" Ethan asked.

"Nothing, it's just abo-"

"It's about nothing," I said and Ethan covered my mouth.

"What's it about?" He asked.

"Football," Justice said.

"Skye, you're playing football?" He asked.

"Maybe," I said.

"You wonder why you get in trouble," he said

"Me playing football was not a rule," I stated.

"Yes it was, but as always you don't listen," he shot and the bell rang.

"I'll see you later," I said and Jake grabbed my hand and he looked at Ethan. They were the same height. "Jake, come on before were late."

Jake looked at me and he let go of my hand and walked to class.

"Aw, come on," I walked to class and sat down, I looked at the worksheet and I glanced out the corner of my eye. Jake was gripping to his pencil tight, his leg shaking up and down, and his other hand clenched into a fist. I looked back at my paper and I looked at Justice, he looked at me and shrugged. That boring class went on and the bell rang, I grabbed my stuff and I walked out. I stopped Jake.

"Hey Jake," I said.

"Hey Mimi," he said with this tone in his voice.

"Jake, why are you mad at me?" I asked and he pecked my lips and walked past me bumping my shoulder.

"What's up with Jake?" Leanna asked.

"I know, but I can tell he's mad at me," I said.

"Good luck," she said.
