"Come on, it's almost dinner.." Kaylen said, as she stood up and reached out a hand for Oliver. The sun had set, and it began to darkened around. It would be plenty more dangerous if they stay a little bit longer in the forest.

Oliver smiled, and reached her hand out as he stood up, dusting off his robe.

"Yeah, come on." he muttered, and held Kaylen's hand, catching the girl off guard, and he led him the way back to the castle.

With their hands together, it was hard to keep the blush that crept unto Kaylen's face.

"Why were you so damped in water anyway?" Kaylen asked, pushing away the heart rate she had picked up.

Oliver scratched the back of his head awkwardly, sheepishly offering her a smile. "I uh– kinda consider taking your friends advice in drowning myself, but instead I tried it on the Black Lake.." he stated, with a light awkward laugh.

Kaylen sighed, "I can't believe you, Wood.." she muttered, and Oliver chuckled.

"I can't believe myself either, I just realized my seeker got injured from falling up from the sky, and I'm here crying about our lost..." Oliver stated, with a laugh. Kaylen couldn't help but laugh along.

"I can't believe you on that too..." she said.

"It's just a big thing for me, you know... especially when its my last year.." he mumbled, sadly. Oliver knew there was still hope. There always is. But he couldn't help but worry they might not take home the cup.

"Hey, I know how much you want that cup and you will have it. Don't worry.." she assured, and the brunette boy smiled at her sincerity.

"With your determination Wood, I think you would actually fit in Slytherin.." she commented, with a chuckle as Oliver rolled his eyes but grinned otherwise.

"I'm more chivalrous though.." Oliver said, and Kaylen raised an eyebrow at him while cheekily smirking.

"Really? Why's that?" she asked playfully.

Oliver halted and so did she, as the quidditch boy turned to her with a grin. "Well, I'm quite a gentleman.." he stated, bowing his head playfully at her, which she giggled at.

"I doubt that." she commented, and he scoffed, but smirked either way as they continued to walk back.

"Were you looking for me?" Oliver carefully asked, his voice soft and stern telling her he was being serious with the question.

Kaylen smiled at the brunette, "Yeah, and fortunately, I've found you." she exclaimed, and Oliver's heart couldn't contain to feel warm and cared for.

"Thanks, Kay. You're the best.." he muttered.

"I know so.." she cheekily replied, and the boy rolled his eyes.

Kaylen chuckled at him, "You're welcome, Oliver. Anytime.." she muttered softly, making his heart melt from her voice.

It was at that moment he found himself warming up to the girl. She was there for him, when he needed someone the most.

It was comfort.

The two parted ways as they arrived at the Great Hall, finding their seats on their respective house tables.

Kaylen approached a smirking Liana and sat beside her.

"So?" Liana started, nudging her in the elbows. Kaylen looked at her dumbfounded, but knew what her friend was eager to ask. She just wants to avoid it.

"What?" she replied, and Liana scoffed at her playing confused.

"How did you find Wood? I figured I would've found you in the Hospital wing if you went to the pitch because you hyperventilated. But here I see you now walk in with Wood, so what happened?" Liana curiously asked.

She shrugged and filled up her plate, "I found him in the forest, drenched all over, because you gave him an idea to drown himself, and he tried it! In the Black Lake!" Kaylen spat.

"Whoa, that's low." Liana exclaimed, laughing. Not even guilty for what she's done. Instead she was proud! That way, Kaylen actually sprint off for the boy, showing how much she really cared for him.

"So, I guess with you running after him shows what you really felt about Wood.." Liana commented, and she choked on her water.

Liana smacked her at the back, as she gasp for air. Kaylen glared at the brunette who laughed harder.

"Well, maybe I in fact do care about him! Because he's my pupil!" Kaylen quickly retorted.

"Hey, I won't push you to it but whatever you say..." Liana waved off as she rolled her eyes.

"Piss off will you?" she spat, and Liana gasp in fake offence clutching her chest dramatically.

"That hurt, Kay. It really did." Liana said.

They glance at each other before bursting into fits of laughter that had soon died down due to fact that many eyes were now on them.

"Stating facts though. You have these weird googly loving eyes when you look at him. Like you see something others couldn't.." Liana said in a dramatic cocky voice.

"I don't have 'googly loving eyes'" Kaylen denied, in the mocking tone of Liana's.

Her friend scoffed at her comment.

"You do. And maybe you don't see it, but I do." Liana exclaimed.

Kaylen sighed and went on with her food. That was the time she finally accepted the fact that she really was falling head over heels for the certain Scot quidditch captain.

It would be an understatement to say that it was incredulous for two people who values completely different things, to fall in love.

I mean, when do you often come across a quidditch obsessed boy fancy a book smart girl who hated the game for all her life to take fancy with each other..?

Surely you haven't.
