This one is literally 160 words, but it's just to resolve the last chapter and give a minute more of Rina. I'm struggling with major writer's block!
Gina's POV
Ricky and I sit together on the bench, not talking. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comfortable and necessary one. I know I just put a lot on him and he didn't ask for that.
To be honest, I felt kind of bad. (😭)
"Is there anything I can do for you this week? Or any week really?" Ricky asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked, adjusting my position to lean further onto him.
"Like, can I buy you some chocolate or flowers or just listening."
"You're sweet. Just cuddles." I said.
"How's your mom doing?"
"She's fine. She doesn't really say anything ever about it. The night after school's always awkward."
"Well...what if you just spent the night over with me?"
"Really?"
"Yeah, totally."
"Thank you, Ricky."

"Are you sure I can't get you anything before we go to sleep, Gina?" Ricky asks, laying beside me in bed.
"I'm sure. I just want my cutie's cuddles."
"All yours."
