I jolt up in bed. I go to my bathroom, splashing my face with cold water.

I look up at myself. I dry off my face before applying a thin layer of mascara. I put my hair half up half down. I get dressed as my mom yells from the kitchen.

"I left muffins on the table!"

I run down the stairs, grabbing a muffin.

"Thank you, love you."

I go pick up Liam and Mason. They've become a package deal. Not that I really minded. Mason in his own way reminds me of Allison.

"Mason, touch my radio one more time and I'm going to break your fingers."

Mason quietly gets back into the back seat. I look at Liam who is munching on my muffin.

"Seriously?"

"It's good. Want a bite?"

"I mean, I'd like one since it is mine."

I pull into the school, both of them running out of my car. I roll my eyes walking towards Malia and Stiles.

"I see why you're worried. He's really hot. He's got great hair, perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened."

"Thank you because I do. Now more than ever."

"By who?"

Malia turns to me.

"Theo." She says. "He was staring at Rory pretty much the entire time we were talking."

"What? No he wasn't!"

Stiles looks at me funny.

"Are you okay?"

"Peachy. I-I'm gonna go to class."

I turn my head as Theo waves to us. His smile is distracting, in a good way. I don't know. I don't think I've ever felt so nervous around someone. I honestly didn't think I'd find the Theo of my universe for a while.

I sit down beside Lydia in AP biology. I immediately pull out my phone, checking out the text from Billy. I start to respond when Lydia elbows me in my ribs.

"Ow!"

She points over to Kira. I look at Scott confused.

"Umm, Scotty, I think you're in the wrong class."

"AP bio, right?"

"Do you know what AP stands for?"

"Advanced placement."

"Scott, I love you, but you do not belong in AP bio."

"And you do?"

"Hey, I'm smart.. I'm just not as smart as Lydia."

"Welcome to AP biology." I look up at Mrs. Finch.

She singles out Scott when asking questions. His track record with school is no secret. He's always been terrible, even before.

I look over my shoulder as Theo looks back at me. He smiles as I look straight forward.

A few classes later Scott and I sit outside on the steps. Ever since the summer everything has changed. I didn't have to spend most of my summer in New York. I just needed the time away.

But looking back I should've stayed here instead. I'll be spending the rest of my life there and around the world saving it. My time here is limited.

"So, this is our last full year together before you become some big hero?"
