"Do you think we did the right thing?" Phil asked Dan as they climbed into the taxi.
"Of course!.. Why... do you think we should have kept quiet?" Dan looked at Phil.
"I just... I guess I dont want to get humiliated. Everyone knows now and I just keep worrying you'll hurt me again." Phil sighed. "I guess I'm just being stupid."
"Well yeah, I mean, you're not being stupid, you have every reason to not trust me after PJ... but I would never do anything to hurt you again! I love you Phil, I want to be with you forever," Dan smiled.
"I love you too," Phil smiled back.
He knew Dan loved him, and he loved Dan, but if it happened before, why wouldn't it happen again? Dan had told him he loved him and he would protect him. He told him he would never hurt him and he ended up nearly dead!
"We should get married." Phil said plainly.
"What?" Dan spluttered.
"Well if you're serious about us being together then why not? If you're sure you want to be with me forever then whats stopping us?" Phil smiled excitedly. "Dan, lets get married!"
