Amber's POV

I blinked my eyes open to the morning sunlight streaming through the curtains. I didn't know what time it was because the alarm clock was on the other side of the bed, and my phone was somewhere on the floor. I was laying against Dean, who was on his back. My head was resting on his shoulder. His arm was wrapped around me, and mine was hugging his abdomen.

I glanced up at his face and saw that he was still sleeping, his breathing steady. I smiled at how peaceful he looked. I never saw that when he was awake. He looked soft and vulnerable.

I felt him stirr but his eyes stayed shut. I gently reached up to his face and brushed my lips against his. I felt him return the kiss and then those beautiful green eyes opened. I smiled, setting my hand on his head and running my fingers through his hair. He closed his eyes again and sighed at the soothing feeling.

I placed my hand on his cheek, wanting him to open his eyes again. He did, once again showing me those gorgeous emeralds. And when he did, we both smiled. "Morning." He finally said.

"Sleep well?" I asked him, although I'm sure he did.

"Like a baby." He replied.

"Good." This was probably one of the rare times Dean actually got some sleep. Life as a hunter could be rough. Hell, it was rough. You have to adjust to only getting a few hours of sleep every once in a while. Though it was nice when you caught a break. Like last night.

"What about you?" He asked. He was rubbing my shoulder, softly, now which felt really good. "I don't know. My pillow wasn't very soft." I teased. He let out a deep chuckle, and I could feel his body move with it. "Remind me to stop hunting monsters. I'll soften up for you." I giggled, drumming my fingers lightly against his chest.

"We should probably head back to the apartment soon." He whispered, almost as if he knew what my reaction would be. I stopped drumming my fingers and laid my hand flat on his chest, feeling his steady heart beat. "Already?" I whined, not wanting to leave this position. He was so warm, I felt like I could just cuddle right back up against him and fall asleep again.

He chuckled. "Unfortunately, yes. Sam and Koda are probably wondering where we are."

"I'm pretty sure they already know." I replied, implying the obvious. Why else would we not come home? At least Sam outta know. He knows Dean's habits better than anyone.

"True." I stated. "But still." I sighed. He was right. I reluctantly went to get out of bed then quickly turned around, pecked Dean on the lips, and then scurried out of bed. I was taking a shower first.

I walked into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I turned on the water to let it heat up and looked in the mirror. My hair wasn't as messy as I thought it was. I was definitely washing it though.

I decided the water was hot enough and stepped in the shower. I realized I had pretty much nothing with me. No change of clothes, no shampoo. Thank God for the little motel shampoos. I took the fastest shower I could so I wouldn't keep Dean waiting. I turned the water off and stepped out, grabbing a couple of towels. I towel dried my hair as best I could and then wrapped a towel around my body.

I walked out of the bathroom to retrieve my clothes. I guess I was just wearing those again. When I walked out I found Dean sitting on the bed with his duffel. Of course he gets to change. Then I noticed my clothes, which had been strewn about the room, were lying on the bed next to his duffel.

"Hey, I figured since you didn't have a change of clothes you could at least wear one of my shirts." That was when I noticed a black and green flannel button down lying next to my clothes. He stood up, picking up his duffel, and walked past me to the bathroom. As he passed me, he stopped to give me a kiss on the forehead. I blushed at the small romantic gesture. It was so unlike him.

I quickly got dressed and waited for Dean to finish up. Then we got in the Impala and headed back to the apartment.

*****

We were about two minutes away from the apartment now. I had no idea how I would explain this to Dakota, if she didn't already figure it out. "Hey, can you give me a little time to talk to Koda on my own? Before you come inside?" I asked Dean. He nodded in reply.

He ended up dropping me off at the door and then driving around for a little while. Here goes. I sighed, pushing the door open and stepping inside. Dakota had just come downstairs and when she saw me, she flipped. She immediately ran up to me, giving me a big hug. Then she released me and took a few steps back, eyeing me suspiciously.

"What happened? Last I heard you were going out for a drink with Dean and..." She trailed off, noticing my shirt for the first time. "That's not your shirt." She stated. No duh. It was clearly a men's shirt, but I did like the loose and baggy feel.

"No, actually its Dean's." I told her cautiously.

"Why are you wearing...?" She stopped mid sentence as her eyes slid behind me. I heard the purr of the Impala driving up and realized I left the door open. Dakota instantly looked back at me. "You did not."

I made a face and stuck my hands in the back pockets of my shorts. "I did."

She seemed excited at first but then raised the issue I had completely forgotten about. "What about Cas?" Cas! I felt so bad now. What was I going to do? I liked Cas, but I also liked Dean. Ugh. Fallen angels/hunters in training should not have to deal with these things.

"Crap!" I exclaimed. I couldn't deal with this now though. I waved it off. "So where's Sam?" I asked, changing the subject which really didn't change it that much.

"Um..." She muttered. As if on cue, I heard Sam's voice coming down the stairs. "Hey, Koda, do you-" He cut himself off when he saw me standing there. He had nothing on but a towel wrapped around his waist, and his skin was glistening with water droplets.

I turned to look at Dakota again, who had an embarrassed look on her face. "Wait... Did you...?" I didn't need to finish the question. She knew what I was asking.

She glanced at Sam then back at me. "Maybe..." Just then Dean walked in. Well isn't this a party. He immediately felt the awkwardness in the room and looked from me to Dakota to Sam.

Knowing Dean, he said the most ridiculous thing. "Alright, is it just me or does this feel like an awkward foursome just waiting to happen?" We all shot him a look but couldn't help but laughing. It was pretty awkward. "Seriously, though. It stinks like sex in this place. That's not just me is it?" He added which only made us laugh more.

That slowly began to fade though, and we continued on with our day. Though we couldn't help but share a few awkward and humor filled glances with each other. What are the odds that all four of us did it on the same night? That would most likely never be forgotten.

**Ok, so yay! Awkwardness and humor!! Wooh! What'd you guys think?
I had fun writing this. :)

And for the title, I was trying to think of something good to use about it being morning. All that kept sticking in my head was in season 7 when Lucifer was singing that good morning song to Sam and then complaining about Sam ignoring him. The only part I remember specifically though was when he sang 'So good morning to you!' So I used that xD

Also, don't forget to check out my new books! Not stories but still fun. Ask me any questions you wanna know about me in '20 Random Things About skytheangel.'
