This is more to do with how people write, but it's still a big thing in Walking Dead fanfics.

Where to use capitals:

- The name of a person, I.e, Tiffany is a bitch.

- The name of a place, I.e, Tiffany lives in America.

- The personal pronoun, 'I'. This is always capitalised, except in some circumstances to make it look 'aesthetically pleasing'

- To begin a sentence or speech, I.e, Tiffany sat down. She looked up and said, "Why doesn't Daryl love me."

- Abbreviations, like, A.S.A.P, which means, as soon as possible.

- Days of the week, months of the year, and holidays, I.e, Tuesday, Thursday, June, August, Christmas, Halloween.

- Countries, languages, nationalities and religions, I,e, America, China, Latina, English, French, Spanish, Buddhism.

There's a a lot more rules, but I feel like this is good for basic knowledge.
