I've never had braces before (I need them lmao) but I know that they can be painful and uncomfortable. Also, I'm pretty sure a lot of people get them. Of course, this isn't essential in your book or anything, but I think it's a fun topic to debate on.
What would you do if you had braces and needed to take them off?
Would you roam the earth looking for a dentist?
Would you take them off yourself?
Like, honestly, what would you do? Even the thought of permanently having braces on scares me. Plus, if you're ever in a fist fight whilst wearing braces and get punched around the face, if it knocks one tooth out, then they all get pulled out because of how the metal is around your teeth.
That's so horrible to think about uhh
And just dental hygiene in general. I know Michonne is really good at keeping her teeth clean, but imagine not being able to brush your teeth, or even floss, for months on end. The rotting; the gum disease. I just can't even think about it uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHH
