You had moved from you assigned post in Virginia to New Orleans, you loved the vibe the city gave off. You had met the team you were joining and you couldn't help but fall for the southern agent, accents had always been your weakness. You had hit it off with LaSalle, hanging out after work and after one particular case he had kissed you.
Now a year and half later, you had moved in together and you staring the results your doctor had handed you only a few moments prior. Two months, you were two months pregnant, damn. How were you going to tell not only LaSalle but Pride. Sure, the pair of them would be happy but Pride wouldn't let you anywhere near the field. You walked into work, Percy and Sebastian looked up at your entrance. "Hey everything okay?" Percy asked concern lacing her tone. "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking." Both her and Sebastian opened their mouths to continue their line of questioning. Pride walked in with LaSalle, shouting instructions about the case. While on your way to the morgue, Chris turned to you. "Everything ok, Sugar-belle?" You twisted in your seat to tell him what you had found out when he shouted something at you a shocked look on his face. The world went black.
"She'll be okay. It's a broken left arm and a graze on her shoulder. She and the baby are going to be okay." Your eyes fluttered open and landed on LaSalle who was staring shocked at the doctor. "She is currently two months. Both will be okay." He smiled at the team who were staring at him, before flickering his eyes to you and nodding. LaSalle turned you as you started to flush red. "I was going to tell you, and I wasn't going to go out in the field." He shook his head, before leaning forward and kissing you. After pulling away, "So, are we good?" He nodded. Grinning, Sonja interjected with "Aw, we're gonna have a little country mouse running around soon." You grinned at the nickname, while Chris rolled his eyes. "Congratulations, you two." Pride announced.
---Two months later---
You were at an ultrasound with Chris, "So would the pair of you like to know the gender of your baby?" You shared a look with Chris. He shrugged, "Up to you Sugar-Belle."
