Mioha didn't really understand at first why they had to stay at Grimmauld Place. Beneath Hogwarts was plenty of room for all of them, and it was clean.
Mrs. Weasley had then explained that Professor Dumbledore preferred using many bases of operations, such as if Hogwarts would become unavailable some day. So the Grimmauld Place was another hideout, and since it had to be up and running again, they might as well start cleaning.

That afternoon, Mioha was actually looking forward to clean with her friends. And that might have had something to do with the spiders she had found in her socks one morning before.

Grimmauld Place was a rather nice house.
But it was filthy.
And it definitely needed some cleaning.

Mrs. Weasley had told them to start with the attic above the third floor, where old curtains were used as nests for spiders. Spiders with the size of Mioha's hand.

Ron didn't set a toe into that room the entire time, and nothing his mother said would make him enter it.

So, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Fred, George and Mioha, armed with brooms and buckets and towels, entered the dusty room filled with spiderwebs. Mioha could hear the clicking and clacking of the spiders around her, and felt a shiver run down her spine every time they shuffled around behind their webs. The walls were covered with spiderwebs, so thick that the windows weren't visible anymore. The light was very dim. The long, black curtains were ragged and old, and large shadows darted up and down in the deep creases.

"Eww", Hermione wrinkled her nose, looking up at the moldy ceiling.
"Why are the webs so big?"

Even George and Fred looked slightly disgusted, and they had a weakness for the disgusting.

"Look, look, look", high-pitched voices whispered from the left.
"What they want? What they want?"

"Clean", others answered from the right in a hushed tone, accompanied by clicking noises.
"They want clean."

"It's a human infestation", the ones from the ceiling declared anxiously. "Infestation, infestation."

"Mioha?", Fred asked curiously, noticing how Mioha had her head cocked slightly as if she were listening.
"What are they saying?"

Mioha looked up at the cobwebbed ceiling, listening for another moment.
"They like it here", she finally said, "they don't want us to destroy their homes."

"What?", Ron huffed from the doorway, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "This is Sirius' house. Not theirs."

"This is still their home", Mioha mumbled, her eyes following a spider that dangled down from the ceiling, holding tightly onto a thin silver thread attached to its web.
The spider was as big as the palm of her hand, its eyes big and black.
"What you want?", it whispered, and many voices repeated the question so that it spread through the room.
"What you want? What you want?"
