It hasn't been long after leaving the island that Nami was raised on after defeating the Fishmen Pirate also called the Arlong Pirate with a group of fishmen. The Going Merry was sailing peacefully on the sea with everyone on deck. "Nami! Iris! I made your lunch!" The new member of the crew come out from the aft deck where the kitchen was. He had a tray in hand that had bowls placed on it.
"What about us?" Usopp had looked up to the man that walked up to stairs to the front of the ship. The teen was way doing something odd.
"Get your own!" Sanji snapped right at him, but his attention fell upon the sleeping swordsman. "Can't you do anything useful with your life, Moss head?"
"What did you say?" Zoro eyes had shot upon.
"You heard me, you're completely useless!"
"Says The guy that can't keep it in his pants!"
"Huh!?" They heads were butting together
"Why are they fighting?" Iris stepped up onto the front deck and she headed right over to the beach chair besides Nami.
"Who knows." She looked up from the newspaper to her saying. Luffy had taken the bowls that had been on the tray and was stuffing his face with it.
"HEY! WHO SAID YOU COULD EAT THAT!?" Sanji noticed this and had completely lost it at his new captain and even sent him flying with a strong kick.
"You're mean, Sanji!" But as he was made of rubber it didn't have much affect on him.
"This ship's pretty nice." A male voice said across from the others. The crew all looked back to the aft deck, at the voice and a someone jumped and landed on the deck, standing with a hand in his pocket. He was a slim young man of average height with a muscular and toned body. He had bluish silver hair, most of which was spiky strands that jut upwards on top of his head, except for some which are pointed down and partially cover the upper left part of his face. The young man's eyes were slanted, with light round pupils and surrounded by similarly light lines and he had small, linear, silver eyebrows.
"Who are you!?" The others had instantly become on gourd but
"Hey, Iris." The men had completely ignore them and smiled with a wave towards Iris, which everyone turned around to her who was throwing daggers with her eyes at the mysterious man.
"Why are you here?" She asking him not hiding the slightest bit of hostility for the man.
"Is that anyway to speak to your superior?" He asked her.
"Superior my ass, you're only a messenger." Iris had calmly started back to him with cold emotionless words. "Why are you here? If I remember correctly, I told that little lackey to leave."
"Yeah, you sure did terrify him." The crew didn't understand what was going on in front of them. Iris who was normally kind and happy was being the total opposite. "Word of advice, don't go calling the boss an old bastard."
"I'll call him what I wish, as long as I do my job there's no reason to complain." Iris was harsh and bitchy, not something the crew has seen at all.
"That's true but then again, you should be home then." The man that had been smiling with his eyes the whole time had opened them and his face looked hard and cold as he looked toward Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, And Sanji. "Not with a bunch of weak losers."
"What did you say!?" Usopp was acting all tough as he walked over to the man, "Don't get cocky." But just he passed Iris he felt a sharp pain at the back of his neck and before everyone else knew he was on the ground.
"The one that shouldn't get cocky is you." Iris had her hand up in a chop potion.
"Usopp!?"
"Know your place. As should you, Yuki." She had glared up at Yuki who had raised his hands surrendering.
"Okay, Okay. I'm sorry." He had told her.
"As for you lot." Turning around back to the group, Zoro had drawn his sword and had it against Iris' neck. However, he was very hesitant, "I'm warning you, put the sword down." She told him.
"And what if I don't?" Zoro smirk wasn't as confidence as he normally was.
"Ángelos Nanoúrisma!" (Angel's Lullaby, Greek) it was then when Iris began to sing and it was gentle and peaceful, as if a mother's lullaby.
"W-What's....?" Nami had started feeling tired holding her head up.
"Why do I... feel so...tired..?" Sanji asked as he fell to his knees.
"What are you doing, Iris?" Zoro's hand had started to lower as he was losing the strength to hold it, till finally it feel to the ground along with him. Then there was Luffy, he just hit to deck as soon as Iris started sing. "I-Iris?" He struggled to say her name as he lifted up his head from the ground, while all the others were sleeping soundly.
"Oh, you're still awake?" Iris turned around to face Zoro and the same smile that she always wore was still not there. It was a face that he had seen before, but this one was more colder then all the others. "I will admit that your a lot stronger then the others, but you are still weak." And with saying that, Zoro had watched she step in front of him and her foot was sent in his face. Everything turned black after that point...
