Bakugo wins but is pretty cheesed he didn't use his fire half
Ben shares Third place with Tenya Iida who had to leave for a "Family emergency"
All might arrives to give a speech and congratulate the winners as the sports festival ends
Two days later school continues as usual
Aizawa announces the amount of Work study requests
Todoroki getting 4,123
Bakugo getting 3,556
and Ben getting a whole 3,557.
one more than Bakugo....
next Aizawa declares everyone is going to pick hero names with the +18 Hero: Midnight to help.
everyone begins choosing names.
Bakugo have a few of his names rejected which Ben secretly finds hilarious
Mina's name of "Alien Queen" gets rejected which Ben is oddly relieved by
then Midnight calls Ben up
he's been thinking this over for a while now
for 5 years in fact
he was going to go for "Ultra Ben"
but....
there was this name an enemy-turned-friend used to always call him...
"My hero name will be...."

"Your name.... and then a number?" Midnight questions confused.
"It just kinda fits with context...." Ben answers. "I started out with 10 transformations, I started using them when I was 10 and my last name is TENnyson... it's pretty perfect."
"Plus." Ben adds. "I give all my transformations their own hero names anyway so I usually go by what form I am at the time..."
"Wait your forms have names?" Mina asks.
everyone also displays confusion over this
Ben is legitimately taken aback nobody knew he named his forms.
"What!?" he exclaims before beginning to count on his fingers. "Heatblast, Fourarms, Diamondhead, Wildmutt, Greymatter, Rath, Wildvine, XLR8, Cannonbolt, Stinkfly, Ditto, Ripjaws, Upgrade, Eyeguy, Goop, Upchuck!! Have you guys really never noticed I called out a name when I transformed?!?!"
everyone continues to look at him confused.
"Wait..." Ochaco begins. "Upchuck was the one you used in the entrance Exam right? to save Midoriya."
Bakugo bursts into laughter.
"QUICK-CHANGE BASTARD IS VOMITMAN?!?!?!?!"
"UPCHUCK!!" Ben corrects.
after everyone else pick their names now is onto deciding internships
Ben has a few offers
Two notable ones being Endeavour and Hawks
endeavour kinda gave Ben the creeps
he just seems so intense
so yeah maybe Hawks would be the "Safe" option....
(I chose Hawks over endeavour because at this point I feel like he's a bit too "extreme" at the moment for Ben.... also I can't take it seriously while imagining that Endeavour would keep trying to adopt Heatblast since he has fire powers that don't make him overheat...)
Later Ben onto his first day
he dials up XLR8 to make the journey easier
he slams down with all his might transforming
