Ben regains full consciousness in a completely different location
its the opening where everyone started their trek into the forest
Ben is lying in Shoji's many arms
which are oddly comfy... for a mass of octo-flesh
but in the centre Bakugou is being pulled into a portal
"Sorry to leave you behind..." the scarred man sighs referring to Ben. "This one was higher on our list compress..."
"Where's animo?" Compress inquires as he leaves.
"The old bastard must have left us behind." he sighs back
Midoriya rushes to help as Ben pushes himself up realizing the Omnitrix recharged while he was unconscious activating it and selecting XLR8
"If there's anytime to give me what i want." Ben says raising his arm up. "IT'S NOW--"
Ben's eyes suddenly go blank as the brute's venom spreads through his human body causing his legs to become jello as he falls to his knees.
he's not even able to move his arms as he falls face first into the dirt.
unable to move all he can do is watch helplessly as Midoriya fails and Bakugou is taken.
Midoriya lets out a bloodcurdling scream of anguish as a wave of defeat fill everybody's bodies.
later emergency services arrive carting the injured and unconscious away
14 people were unconscious
13 were injured
12 were uninjured
and 1 is missing
along with that a pro hero had suffered severe head trauma from a villain attack and another was missing
on the villain side 3 were captured and animo's surviving mutants were contained by animal control
Luckily for Ben the venom's effects weren't permanent and the worse he'll have to deal with is sore muscles for a few days
and a crushed spirit....
that too...
but besides that and the stab wound Ben is allowed out near immedietly
after that the class visits Midoriya who cries for a full 5 minutes about how he's a terrible hero for being unable to save bakugou
during the conversation Kirishima says he and Todoroki overheard that Yaoyorozu put a tracking device on a Nomu that was attacking the camp.
the class seems to split into people that think they should get Momo to make another Receiver and people that believe that we should leave it to the pros.
Kirishima tries to recruit Deku in a plan to rescue Bakugo.
the argument is interrupted by a doctor coming to preform Deku's Exam.
Kirishima had already talked to Ben about it who was more than happy to help however he could.
that night they do and after punching Midoriya Iida joins as well
Yaoyoruzu pulls out a 2nd transceiver and they begin to track Bakugou's location
