Always A Good Time

"I can't believe that we just got all of this ice cream." Lily said. "We went over."

"Hey, we only live once." Penelope said.

"When you can can't decide which flavor you want." Aurora said.

All of the girls just started laughing.

"This is something that we haven't done before." Laylal said. "We should do this more often."

"We should." I say.

"Well, let's dig in." Penelope said.

"I think I should do a cover of Shawn Mendes' song Stitches." I said.

The girls were excited.

"When are you doing this cover?" Laylal asks.

"Start of next week after I come back from visiting my grandma in NYC for the weekend." I said.

"You also have to set up for the garage sale." Lily said.

"I'm going to need some help with that." I say. "Including the guys."

"That's no problem." Luna said.

"It isn't." I say.

The girls cheer.

We eat our ice cream.🍦😋

"I'm going to talk with Kinsley to see if she wants to do a cover of Bad Blood with me at her place." I say.

"That's a good idea." Lily said. "This weekend, I'm going to be helping Luna with her Acapella cover of Flashlight along with Jax."

"Who you like." Luna said.

Our jaws dropped.

"Lily is actually crushing." Penelope said.

"Why Jax?" Laylal asks. "You two hate each other's guts."

"That's what you all thought." Luna said as she crosses her arms across her chest. "Their teasing has been playful lately."

"How so?" Lily asks.

"The cherry blossom mess in my last cover video, Style, was because of you two." Luna scoffs.

Everyone turns to look at Lily except for Penelope who was eating the ice cream.

Lily's lips are in a thin line as her face gets red.

💭Luna had Lily cornered.💭

"You guys are missing out on this." Penelope says with her mouth full of ice cream.

Aurora and I get back into the ice cream as we listen to the conversation continue.

"This is interesting." Laylal said. "So Clover and Blake love story."

"True." I say. "Just that if Lily and Jax were an item, Lily will be in charge."

"Seriously, Rose?" Lily asks me.

"Lily we all know that you're fierce, confident and never took no for an answer." I say.

"True." Lily said with ice cream in her mouth.

"That was fun selling you out." Luna tells Lily.

Everyone laughs.

"So why don't you just ask him out Tiger Lily🐯🌸?" Aurora asks Lily.

"I guess I'm going by friendship over everything." Lily mumbles.

"Interesting." I said. "That will be your thoughts for now."

"Give yourself time to think about this for a few weeks." Laylal said.

"Do what Laylal says." Luna said. "That's how I found out that I like Zander."

"You like who Luna?" Zander asks as he approaches to our table.

The girls and I got shocked.

"Huge crush on Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell." Luna says.

The girls just nod in agreement.

"Interesting." Zander said.

"Sure is." I say.

"Did you tell the girls about the Gibsons?" Zander asks me.

"I forgot." I said. "They're finally getting into that place they wanted to go to."

The girls cheered.

"They have given me all of their books." I said.

"Can we take some?" Aurora asks.

"I was just about to invite you all to take some books and their daughters' clothing." I said. "Whatever we don't want, I could use it in the garage sale."

"After you box up Vincent?" Aurora asks me.

"After I box up Vincent." I say.

💭It felt good to say those words.💭

"Which is why we have to get going." Zander said. "We still have to move the clothes to your place. I promised the Gibsons that I'll take down the old book shelves today."

"So soon?" Luna whined.

💭This had to be good.💭

"Pretty much." Zander sighed.

I get out of the chair and hug all the girls goodbye.

Zander does the same.

💭Again, the hug between Zander and Luna was long. I think it was longer that the one earlier.💭

I link arms with Zander as we walk up the boardwalk starting to head home.

💬That hug between Zander and Luna was long Lily, what are you going to do about that?😏💬

"I have to tell you something." Zander said.

"Talk away." I say. "All ears."

"Luna and I have been talking." Zander said.

My jaw dropped.

Then I jumped up and down in glee.

Zander was laughing at my reaction.

💭It's about time that they got the ball rolling in the right direction.💭

"Hey can we go visit Kinsley?" I ask.

"Sure." Zander said.

"I want to ask her if she wants to do a cover Bad Blood at her place tomorrow." I say.

"Then let's get going." Zander said. "It's just on our way home."

"As long as you talk to me about what you and Luna talk about." I say.

"You're lucky I love you like a sister." Zander grumbles.

"You're lucky to be loved by me." I said.

💭I love spending time with all of my friends because time with them is always a good time.💭
