Your pov
I was standing in an empty hallway. The walls were painted black. I began to walk through.
"Hello?" I called.
"Hello?" The walls repeated.
"Is anybody there?" I asked.
"Is anybody there?" They echoed. I took a step closer to one of the walls. I placed my hand on the darkness, as soon as I did, I fell through. I screamed as I fell through the darkness.
I woke up, seconds before hitting the ground. My heart was beating fast as I was in a nervous sweat. I turned to see my love was still asleep. How does he do it? I wish I could just sleep, I'm such a burden on him, always waking him up for these stupid dreams that aren't even real...
That was when I felt my eyes get glossy, oh no...
As the tears streamed down, I buried my face into my pillow, as to not wake up my sleeping angel. That was when I felt a hand on my back.
"Hey, are you alright honey?" Patrick asked, voice still sleepy. I lifted my head.
"N-not really..." I buried my head back into my pillow, "Why... why haven't you left?"
"What!?" I brought my head back up.
"Why are you still here? You... you'd be so much better off without me. Look at me Pat, I can't even have a stupid nightmare without waking you up. Or crying for that matter. I'm such a burden on you..." I cried.
"Baby, no. You are not a burden, come here," He held his arms out, so I climbed in, "You're just tired, not thinking straight. But, I love you so much. I don't mind the nightmares at all sweetheart. I actually think it's adorable how you cling onto me when you're scared. I also love the late night conversations that come out of waking up at two in the morning. I love you so much baby." He kissed the top of my head.
"Aww, I love you too. I don't know why I was thinking like that. You wouldn't be able to survive without me." I said, with a yawn.
"Why don't we go back to sleep? I promise, I got you if anything bad happens." He spoke softly.
"Okay..." I yawned, he whispered sweet nothing's to me until I fell asleep again.
